I broke my $275 8 arm Gear bubbler the other day. It fell off my bed side table and managed to hit the only hard thing on the entire carpet. Shattered the tube into the can, but the tree has stayed intact.

This is exactly why I'm afraid to buy pricy glass. I have broken more glass whips than I care to think about. I have no doubt about what the future of a nice glass piece would be in my hands...

I totally understand. I know I'm a klutz, so I take special care when cleaning my glass. Usually, it's just a fluke tap that breaks it rather than a drop or hard bump. Painful none the less.

I was scared of this thread, because I have been in a glass breakage curse zone. Broke like 3 of my percs, including my favorite 8-arm tree w/ dewarr. Even my 14mm whip adapter is cracked clean thru now (though, still in 1 piece).

I really miss my tube, as it held my 11-arm tree and have a 6-arm itself. Thing milked wonderfully. Hope my Saxo, whenever it gets here, can hold up to my occasional stupidity/clumsiness. I actually kicked my cheapo Hard Times beaker yesterday, literally smashed it to the floor. Not even a scratch. Luckily, my inline wasn't hooked up.

Sorry to see these broken pieces! Tdub maybe yours is fixable cause its just the base... I hate breaking pieces.... It does seem to happen often while cleaning.

Its a graduated cylinder for mixing precise solutions (to contain) "things" like my vaping medium for example The included glass stopper will be really nice to keep small amounts of extra finished solution nicely for short periods of time. I broke my 50 ml one also but threw it away before posting. I hope these things don't happen in threes

So I'm sitting up in bed last night, getting ready for a fresh trench of blue dream, when I notice a 1" crack going down the downstem (body) of my cheapo Hard Times beaker. When I insert the perc, it grows about another 1/8".

It was my first new bong I bought when I went MMJ, so has sentimental value. Plus, one if the better pieces for my percs, because of the wide flat base.

But, at least I've already bought its (better) replacement!

I just realized that this is break #3. I had the original 50 ml that I didn't photograph, the 100 ml, and now this. So maybe my run of bad luck is over? Things seem to break in 3s for me . . .

Nice! You got quite the lab goin on over there.... So what kinda solutions do you mix up and vape?, if you dont mind my asking.

Right now I use RezBlock (resin & odor control) + Silver hydrosol (keeps biological nasties away) + Distilled water (hard water stains be gone) to vape through, however, some folks are experimenting right now with a home made version of RezBlock, which is turning out to be fun. Stay tuned I think a thread about diffuser mediums is in the works. It was originally going to be a RezBlock thread but for several reasons I have backed off this idea, one reason was an email from the manufacturer . . .
