lwien, I'm not going to be sucked into this. I didn't say any such thing about Vicki, nor imply it was about Vicki. I'm done, responding to you. As this is your typical tactic, to derail and get others in trouble. I'm not going to be party to it.
Ok, let's leave Vicki out of this. Considering what the definition of "hypocrisy" is, I STILL don't see how the Dems could be labeled as being hypocritical because they added God back into their platform. The ONLY way that would be hypocritical is if they didn't believe in God, but added God into their platform anyway. You say that is not what you meant..............so, I'm still confused.
Also, considering the recent polls after the DNC, do you still believe that Romney is going to win by a "landslide" ? Prior to the DNC, most all of the polls had Romney and Obama in a dead heat but in the battleground states (those states that either candidate MUST win and where Romney held a slight lead prior to the DNC) the most recent poll done by NBC/Wall Street Journal post DNC came out with:
Ohio Obama--50% Romney 43%
Virginia Obama 49% Romney 44%
Florida--Obama 49% Romney 44%
Now granted, the difference isn't huge, but if you consider the swing that occured from Romney being favored to now being unfavored, it's pretty dramatic, so from the looks of it, it looks like the DNC did it's job. Either that, or the RNC didn't do it's job, or maybe a combination of both. Now what's left is the debates, and if I was a bettin' man, I'd put my money on Obama.
Now even after this, in the end, it still "may" be a close race, but your contention that Romney will win by a landslide is, imho, wishful thinking that is currently not based in any reality whatsoever.
But to get back on track here, I have a definite feeling that "if" Obama wins, Fox News will blame the Romney loss on the "liberal press". I have no doubt about that. Hell, Hannity on Fox questioned the accuracy of Gallup polling ONLY after they reflected a 5 point gain for Obama after the DNC. It's weird that he NEVER questioned the Gallup polling when Gallup polled that Romney was in the lead. Their inconsistencies are just soooo blatant and transparent that it just boggles my mind that ANYONE could put any credence into what they report.
