You won't find a whole lot of UV reactive glass on IG for $150 honestly. If you do they will be lesser known artists or less intricate pieces or banger hangers. BUT they are out there! Let me look around to see if there is any UV stuff for a deal.
A lot of the UV colors that are hot like Lucy and Serum are expensive alone. Plus these artist value their time as you can tell lol.

Yeah. I've seen lucy and blue-v advertised for 80 a pound so I know it is pricey. Those are the primary colors I want. I've got a dude telling me he can make what appears to be a blu slyme/blu v rig with lucy accents. That'd be ideal. He said it was within my stated price range so hopefully he tells me he can do it soon. The etsy dude didn't have the colors I wanted so I'm just browsing instagram now. Funnily enough the blu-v and lucy dude is on both instagram and etsy. His name is @codyplineglass. I'm @holytoledo760. Thanks for the help brother. I know I won't get one of those crazy tire perks like on the kleins from nimbus, but I'd rather have a simple perk and blu/pink to look at. I've seen the pink even look purple. Or is that a different color?

Oh yeah, and I'm finding out uv reactive glass doesn't retain its glow after the light source is taken away.

I kind of want a phosphor glass rig instead now that I know that. But UV glows so brightly. I'm hoping the UV light doesn't give me cancer and isn't too much of a bother. Supposedly the uv lights sold for the purpose of uv glass isn't the kind that will give you cancer (or isn't as strong?). Forgot where I heard that one. I figure I can just pass it along to someone I know at cost if I find I don't like the light situation.

Thank you. I looked at the first ones and wondered why they were just pendants. I see the rig now. It's nice. I couldn't find it as a recent post so I don't think it's for sale still, plus it was a bit small.

It took me a while and the first guy who showed me a pic of something similar to what I would get eventually said he didn't do custom glass. It's tricky business getting glow glass I think. But I've finally found a dude. I hope that's the last time I have to say that. xD

Few things:

Uv glass is pricey at 80 dollars per pound, at least.

Most artists want 200 for a rig. That just seems to be the nice round steady figure I get back. Or something really close to it.

But see, I had found a uranium glass bong for 80 some dollars from grasscity and a glow beaker rig from smoke cartel for 130. So I figure it can be had for cheap and I've finally found a dude who does it for the cheap. I'm going to take a risk on aesthetics, plus I've seen his pieces function fine. I'm not looking for anything too heady. Ideally it would be like scientific glass but with uv colors instead.

Also, did you guys know there is such a thing as cfl reactive glass? I did not know.

I like this piece. It's small. Perfect for dabs. He says he can make them in UV. And he has all the colors I want! That's my dude, I guess!

Also, expect to pay a deposit for custom work is what someone told me, which I'm fine with. Really loving instagram glass. I guess I finally found a reason to use instagram.

Sorry for the double post but the time limit ran out to edit, and I wanted to give a review of the glass artist I used. I got a uv reactive glass rig with an inline perc that has 4 holes.

I received it in a timely manner and on the day he said it would get here. Travel time was 4 business days from Colorado to Souther California. The pricing was 120 and shipping was 10. He threw in a freebie carb cap with the rig that I paid twenty dollars to upgrade to this:

The carb cap at the top has an airflow hole angled so twisting helps.

The piece itself has an opal that is blue/green and glows.

The pic doesn't do it justice, it's a subtle glow but looks great in my opinion.

It really rips and has almost zero drag. Exactly what I asked for!

Here's a function vid. I swear the carb cap isn't as crooked as I twist it around to look like. I just don't have the twirl for carbing down yet.

If you want a 7" inline rig in uv or cfl reactive color, @broughttoyoubybroadway does both.

It is a fun addiction. VaS was fun but once you try them all there is nothing else to play with. The glass world is never ending! I have a couple of more small pieces to show you guys soon but then I think I will save up for a big boy! #Thousanddollarsmoke

I will one day own all 3 I hope but for now I am leaning towards a custom fab from Redtail glass. Either that or a Bowman Window rig or any of the Pineapple pattern Percs from Hondo. Damn this is a hard choice! I guess I will just consider is which one is first and not worry about it and hope one day I have one of each.
Any thoughts?

My next purchase is going to be a themed glass piece. It'll probably be two months until I can purchase at least, but well worth the wait I figure.

What's your favorite pop culture thing? Ask that they include it in the design!

Edit: Eyy, that's nice die hard. I like the removable downstems. They are always a plus.

Ugh!!! I lost so many auctions this week already. It's so frustrating but fun lol. I won 1 Hondo but it didn't hit reserve. They offered me reserve and it is a fucking steal at more than 60% off retail but not exactly the Hondo Piece I wanted so I passed. Wondering if I should go back and try to get it?
Then The most amazing UV Joachimglass piece that I loved. I usually don't care too much about the UV aspects of pieces unless they also look cool in regular lighting. Because how often is my room going to be filled with blacklight (besides every IG video with a UV bong ever lol) But this hand pulled layered UV color he made was the best thing ever! It was worth the final price for
This thing was AWESOME in any light! I wish I would have bid one more time lol I didn't end up winning it but this guy is killing it and can make more than just a bad ass Reaper!

But then last night I bid on something that is very unlike most things I would bid on but it was so beautiful I had to have it! There is an artist , Mia Shea, that makes some amazing female figures. I am a big fan of the female body and glass art so this is amazing to me. That and the fact that this wig wag tubing was hand made by her during a special trip to Italy and was her very first Wig Wag! The windows are Lucy so it's UV reactive, so beautiful. I love this tiny little lady , I can't wait to get her! This one my sit on the shelf out any time it's not in use
