Ghost MV1 as a concentrate only device?

Hi all

I'm on the look out for a new dabbing device. i fancy the Rio from Stache Products as its portable and love dabbing on quartz for the flavor, especially when doing it from a cold start using inserts to suck up the vapors. Although that might be my final choice i have been wondering about the Ghost MV1 solely for concentrate use, using there liquid pads.

What's the consensus on the Ghost for oil's, any good, bit hit and miss? would be great to hear off people who use it mainly for oils if they exist. I'm aware that the Ghost is convection based where as the Rio would be conduction so there would be difference but how vast would that be?

Any advise is welcome as VAS is kicking in once more

No! I don’t get good results with my Ghost for concentrates. I had a Firefly 2. That did concentrates extremely well. I mean it was magnificent for concentrates.

The real quartz dab is gonna blow away any concentrate pad hit.

I’m far from an expert on this, but as far as I know the Saionara Top Airflow (TAF) with the quartz bucket is probably your best bet for quartz flavor on the go.

I know for a fact @PuffItUp is a great place to buy from and they are great at recommending products as well, they love talking about vapes. Tell them what you want and they will suggest something that fits your needs well, and at a great price too!

Cheers @invertedisdead @Vapor_Eyes and @acstorfer for the advice I thought it was a long shot using such a device for cons. Got a torch and banger to work with for the time being, the FF2 might be worth looking into but I've read it's hit and miss unlike a banger.

Maybe consider the Focus Vape Carta; the Rio looks pretty cool though, hard to beat that full sized banger hit, although it's not the most discrete of devices. Are you looking for a true portable or just something cordless to use around the house?

I have looked at the Carta @invertedisdead and it's certainly one i'm interested in, form factor like a Peak but without the dodgy CS and other issues i see daily from users. Thing with the Rio is i have a good number of bangers and inserts so it would go well with my collection, plus its a little cheaper than the Carta (i think if memory serves).

Just needs to be wireless mate, would like a nice form factor as well which is well ticked with the Rio. I would likely never leave the house so its size and weight are a lesser issue.
