So i was just curious as if you guys get nauseous at all when you dont smoke. i smoke/vape every night and sometimes in the day and on nights that i dont i get a nauseous feeling in my stomach and its usually doesnt start till around night time. I went a week without smoking and the feeling seems to only last for like 4 or 5 nights and then after that im fine. Its not like its a really really bad feeling as if im like addicted to crack or something but it just really sucks does this happen to anyone else?

Never heard of this problem. It sounds almost like you have something going on with your body that's causing nausea, and mj is masking or surpressing it. Abstaining from mj should certainly not cause nausea. I've never heard of anyone complaining of physical withdrawal symtoms.

do you eat plenty of healthy food
sounds to me like the problem is more with your general health than anything mj related.

Actually that's pretty common man. It's not like you wanna puke or anything just a nasty feeling in your stomach. On the short list of marijuana withdrawal symptoms

Pretty common you say? Never heard of it or experienced it, and I've 'withdrawn' from mj. many times in the past 30+ years. I've experienced more discomfort, stomach wise, from minor dehydration than from mj withdrawal. Cannabis is not a physically addictive substance.

I've talked to many, many people who have experienced the same thing and I have too.

I get it in the mornings

Try a little moderation. If your body doesn't have high levels of THC on a regular basis, it's not going to miss it much when it goes without. I've gone years with using it on a daily basis and not felt any adverse effects when I stopped, but I've always been a light to moderate user. Rarely have I used throughout a day, usually only when I'm sick.

You might want to see a doctor before you prescribe the reason for it.

If you are nauseous in the morning, it is usually due to acid buildup. It is probably an ongoing problem that you are medicating with mj. If you aren't pregnant, it is probably acid reflux. Morning nausea is a common symptom of all sorts of GI and other problems. Generally nothing serious, but why court ulcer or cancerous changes down the road? See a doctor and you may find you just need prilosec for a few days.

yeah that's what I was thinking but if you have your medical card then I don't think it would be a problem but it would be funny

Nausea is definitely part of the well-documented marijuana withdrawal syndrome. THC is a wonderful central antiemetic. Just like many psychoactive drugs, ceasing its use can have the opposite effect. "Withdrawal" sounds harsh, but it's actually generally pretty mild for those that experience it, and some don't at all. Denying the negative effects of cannabis makes it harder to use it as effective medicine, IMHO.

yeah i mean its definitely sucks and is a shitty feeling but its nothing that i cant handle. And its done now cause tonight i didnt get it. its probably just from smoking every single night.

What are you guys cracking on about?

Nausea is pretty much the 1st symptom I get from cannabis withdrawal, 100% of the smokers I know get it.

You smoke/vape too much, then take a break... you're sick in the stomach, cranky, appetite is shitty and you often get a headache... I thought this was a given for all users.

Don't fall into the trap of taking antacids. It's an endless road with little to no relief. Suppressing stomach acid that's needed for digestion is detrimental and doesn't address the cause, a good part of which is too many acid producing foods in the diet. A google search for alkaline producing foods will produce hits for sites with acid and alkaline producing foods. Adjusting the diet for an alkaline balance not only does away with acid reflux and even more serious conditions produced by acidity, but an overall alkaline balance for body pH is necessary for good health. You need at least a 60-40 balance toward alkaline foods and more like an 80-20 ratio if you're in a state of chronic acidosis.

i haven't smoked / vaped in the past two weeks and have been noticing that i've been waking up nauseous as well and thought maybe its just because i've been eating late at night but it seems like it doesn't matter what i eat, i still wake up feeling like crap. i did smoke with my sister's boyfriend friday night though and still woke up feeling pretty shitty but i think i'll blame that on the pizza i was eating which would put the normal meat lovers to shame, had at least six types of meat on it :ko: i'm just hoping i'm not developing stomach issues like what my sister has, all i know is she has an extremely sensitive stomach and has gone to doctor's about it and they don't know what to tell her.

Well to throw a tangent in..... i love herb, and take breaks here and there just to renew myself.

Now recently i started feeling extremely nauseated...... actually going on a month or so....,. before I could smoke me a j or 2 and that would settle my guts, but recently my home grown trick hasnt worked.

The strange part is that I just recently found out that my wife has a bun in the oven..,...... anyone have an opinion on male morning sickness
