Agreed. 10 is very nice. So smooth. I often forget I still have draws remaining, I'll notice my phones timer running n I'm like dammmn. Even a 5-10 minute heat soak, smooth silky vapor!

Well, I'm sorry that it didn't work out the way you (and a lot of us) had hoped, but you brought a really cool piece to a lot of hardcore enthusiast vaporists. Feel good about that man, and don't beat yourself up. I hope this last run goes smoothly for you (hopefully I am high enough on the list to snag one!), and that you take some time and come back and have another go at it. It's awesome to see products designed / built by people who really care about their craft.
And for what it's worth, I really enjoy your review vids too. Especially when I was first starting to get into portables. I really appreciate your contribution to this community.

I checked in out of curiosity, just to see if there was news and boy! That’s news alright, not the best news unfortunately, for the G43. I’m sorry it’s been so rough on Bud too, feel bad seeing him feeling bad.
But I’m soooo glad that my name is somewhere on that list, I think that this lil gem is for the serious enthusiast and I definitely want to be in that club. I think I’m leaning towards the batt sled but if Bud happens to still have mod versions laying about, should I scoop one of those instead?
Based on your experience with either, or both, what do you think? Pros/cons?

Mod version 4 me as I don't think the sled version has the quick connect plug on the lead, which I use to hook it up to my variable voltage power supply. I don't think there's any battery level indication on the sled version, and I'm not sure if you can change the power on the sled version to fine tune your experience or turn it up to use it with an adapter like the elev8 as the bowl.
If those things aren't important to you the sled version really couldn't be any simpler. You just put the battery in and it starts to heat up.

Thanks Bud! When the time comes I like this idea of you talking to Ryan. I own several one man shop vapes and I like how Ryan has hacked the scale challenge with his manufacturing partner while maintaining high standards for performance and safety. The vapes themselves get less costly from not being handmade too so I would not object if you chose to go that route at some point.

So has anyone on the list been contacted by @VCBud yet? I’m not registered @ VLF and I would almost assume that he would reach out to his forum’s members first, so just wondering if anyone with dual memberships might know if there’s been any movement at all. Also wondering if he’ll ship them out in small batches or wait until all 250 are made before shipping them to all the good girls & boys & non-binary theys.
Now I don’t know anything about his plan other than what’s in the video but I am curious how he’s going to make more G43s between now and a December 1 deadline (250) than have been made so far this year (200).
At 1.5 hours per unit, ~26 units a week, it’s definitely doable time-wise but... makes me wonder how only 200 have been made all year long? I’m not bothered about it, just thinking and maybe there’s something I’m missing? Perhaps he’s acquired some undocumented oompa-loompas or has poor Hazel chained to a workstation for 12 hours a day? Or maybe he scored some hurricane cocaine that washed up over there recently and he’s just gonna burn that candle at both ends for a couple months and then detox over the holidays?
I hope none of that ^ sounds like I’m doubting Bud or being disrespectful about hitting the goal, just thinking out loud and have had too much time to think about the G43, I guess. Did I mention that I really want one?

Bud said he would finish making G43's and that everyone on the list prior to Sept this year should get their unit. He is not on the same pace at all from the start of the G43.....he took the summer off basically because he could not make them fast enough and the list was up to about 400+ in total....I think a little over 200 units were sold so far.....maybe he has enough mods to do about 50-60 more units with the mod and the rest will be battery cradle version only. He is trying to get them made by the end of the year for those on the list now.
As far as knowing where you are or if you are on the list....if you properly used the @VapeCritic or @hazel....you will get a chance to get your number when it comes up. Since is has been so long since people have put themselves on the list past #200......some may drop out when their chance comes and the next person will get the chance. So there may be some available for those who wanted one.
He is not taking any time to verify any of the who is on the list or where he is on the list. He was overwhelmed at not being able to make them fast enough and is taking a step back and trying to get his manufacturing process setup better for the next batch if and when that could be. He still wants to make the box mobile one as well. So cross your fingers and hope things work out well for the future.

Haven’t been around much lately and just saw this. Really is unfortunate. I am lucky enough to have one of these, and it is an absolute dream come true. There are annoying nuances such as the long heat up, the cord, how the stirring works, how you have to cash it, etc. ...nothing major, just not incredibly seamless compared to some vapes (all vapes have their trade offs). But when you toss all that aside and focus on the vapor production, holy shit it is actually insane. It is probably the hardest hitting most consistent vape I’ve used. It is so brainless in operation with incredible results every time. You can hand this thing to anyone once it is heated up, and they will basically always get the best rip they can get no matter how they hit it. Plain and simple, it just works, and works very well.
Excited to see what Bud has in store for the future as this vape is an absolute winner in my book and is something I could recommend to pretty much anyone.

I gotta seriously sort myself out at the moment I have been WAY WAY over medicating. Far too much LSD in combo with weed, kava and a type of downer called Etizolam. Its all just got way out of hand, I really must address it now pronto so I can continue to chime in here in typical POSITIVE (

I think it would be nice if there where glass balls to buy for the herborizer ti, glass balls instead of the titanium peace for airflow (and dabbing) would be very interesting!

I think that adding beads would transfer heat to the area with orings . Btw this is one thing that i dont like in the Herborizer concept. I bet that area gets quite hot cause heat travels upwards,so increasing the mass with beads will add even more heatstress to that area. I am fine with silicon ,in cold areas but this would bug my mind. Also are there any breakdown of the current heater ? How are leads of the heater separated from the airpath, i remember the OG version had the wires in the airpath and one could definetly smell them if he goes to the end of the dial,how does the new heater handles high temps ? Does that area with the o-rings gets hot to the touch with prolonged operation ?

There are currently 6 ‘platoons’ that have been announced with approximately 40 names in each, although I’m pretty sure that Bud has enough requests by now to generate more platoons beyond that.
Those in Platoon 1 were invited to place their orders in Bud’s Shop last night.
He’s hoping to make around 15 G43/SledGhammer’s per week so it should take around three weeks per platoon, although only time will tell if that is a realistic and sustainable pace.
Bud’s only building them until he runs out of slides, mods and sleds so if you’re interested I suggest you head over to the Vapelife Forum and register your interest ASAP.
