Hi everyone,
Congratulations to Dejan for the Frolic, the first vaporizer that actually made me create an account on FC and gave me the urge to share my feedback!
The look of the vape is minimalist, even monolithic, and I personally find that beautiful. Thanks to its simple shapes, it fits perfectly in the hand and the fire button naturally falls under the fingers. The cooling unit easily aligns because of the wedge but it is indeed a bit hard to remove.
As for performance and vapor, other users with broader experience have already said it all: versatile; very responsive; powerful. In on-demand mode, after the first draw, you press the fire button, gently bring the vape to your lips, and it’s ready!
I also love being able to easily change my experience. In sessions mode with very restricted airflow and low temperature, or in on-demand mode with airflow fully open and temperature maxed out. Both experiences work really well and don’t overlap.
In short, you’ve probably noticed that this vape completely fulfills my expectations. But precisely because I appreciate it so much, I’ll allow myself to share a few points I’d like to see evolve:
- in session mode, I’d love for a higher conduction heating ratio;
- the option to reduce screen brightness, LED brightness, and vibration intensity;
- slightly faster temperature scrolling?
- a battery check with the device off by pressing the power button (red to green led);
- more round/conical/non-directional mouthpieces (I only use the 14mm adapter);
- if you magically could make the CLICK when you put back the CU less CLICKY;
- and in general, fewer O-rings equals more happiness.
I’ll also allow myself to make some of you a little jealous. Some find that the airflow control ring spins too freely, but mine only moves if I use all my strength and that of my ancestors (plus a silicone grip). It’s the only vape that has ever given me a small burn… from friction.
Thanks again and congratulations Dejan!
PS: I also wanted to ask the forum how you hold your Frolic and with which finger you press the fire button? (I usually hold it full-hand and fire with my index or middle finger).
