hehe....

I remember the Buzzbee!! Years ago when I was young. A frisbee w/ bowl in the middle. Light, puff, Toss, puff, toss. Man, if they brought buzzbee's back maybe I'd take up the sport LOL!

Edited to add I could relive my youth if it the new dankdisc vaporized instead of combusted but.... then next gen buzzbee is out there. LOL

I don't play, but my apartment complex has an 18 hole frisbee golf course. I always vape and peek through my blinds at the frisbee players and think to myself "Not today frisbee golfers, you will not get me today...."

bcleez,
A buddy of mine has taken me disk golfing a few times, and each time I loved it. I can see why it appeals to "stoners", as it is a very laid back sport. The only trouble I had was when I threw a disk into the woods, and spent about 10 minutes trying to find it. You should check it out bcleez, as it is relatively inexpensive to get into, and very fun and rewarding (hearing your disk hit the chains and fall in is awesome sounding) sport. I just wish I lived closer to one, or I would do it more often.

I love to play disc golf, but only go once every week or two. Havent gone since acquiring my VG though, gotta get a torch lighter first as its usually pretty windy. Just curious, Ive only played a few courses, but they all had their "bowl hole". I guess they were just the most secluded holes, so everyone seems to hit it there. Do your courses have a bowl hole?

All of our courses have multiple bowl holes. In some cases they are on almost every hole and there are people using them at all times. Huge DG culture here. You have to plan when you play, or you will be waiting at every hole. Big group bowls when that happens, and it becomes a bit of a social occasion. Most of the people are pretty hardcore and are out there to play though, so it's kind of a tense environment. Gotta drive outside of town a little bit to some of the more remote courses if you want to lose discs and not have people yelling at you.

I played a ton this winter. First time playing winter golf it was a ton of fun. I misplaced close to a dozen discs only to get them back after the snow melted.

Culture of disc golf is pretty nice. Most people are really friendly and will help you. It is a great low impact sport that almost anyone can get good at.
