My friend is looking to buy a vaporizer.
1) High temperatures for hash.
2) Very user friendly. Press a few buttons and ur good. Big bowl would be nice.
3) 200-300$
Doesn't have to be efficient or portable, and taste doesn't have to be spectacular.
Thanks for the help.
Nano.
- Gets hot as fuck.
- No buttons, just one analog dial.
- New "ba adjust-a-bowl" stems/gongs allow for larger or smaller loads depending on preference.
- $200 and theres a 10% off FC discount.
Technique? Are we blowing bubbles?technique
I mean like drawing, stirring, ect. I haven't ruled out the e-nano completely. Just looking at other suggestions before pulling the trigger. The guy is a complete amateur, and looking for something more user friendly. Something anyone with little previous knowledge about vaporization can operate and operate well.Technique? Are we blowing bubbles?
EDIT:
I 2nd the Nano.
Based on your criteria looks like the SSV or DBV would be ideal (flavor not the best and efficiency not the greatest). But high heat, simple, and reliableI went back and forth on the Nano, but theres a bit of technique involved. This guy needs something more like that plug in from vaporblunt that was supposed to come out (the baker). Except I've been hearing bad customer service feedback from the PNP thread. Not sure what to do.
Are they easier to use than the vaporbrothers vaporizer? I don't know why I always thought they were pretty much the same. Please educate me on how they are diff.Based on your criteria looks like the SSV or DBV would be ideal (flavor not the best and efficiency not the greatest). But high heat, simple, and reliable
Ive never used a log before so I speak only out of observation, not experience. Where does the LSV fall in terms of difficulty to operate?I do believe my UnderDog has to be one of the simplest vapes to use that I own(more then 2 dozen vapes strong).
All you do is pack the stem then stick it on and draw through it, Fast and hard if you want a giant hit or you can take it slow and easy to sit back and do a sipping session. A wand style vape like the DBV and SSV takes a lot more work and In my experience will intimidate a new user more often then a log.
Logs are pure simplicity, If you can't figure out how to hit a simple glass stem on an underdog I doubt if you can walk, talk and suck air at the same time.

Thanks again for all the replies.
If it was for me i'd go with the nano without giving it a second thought, but how is the eq less user friendly?I would think the EQ to be smoother because the nano hits harder. But I wouldnt choose the EQ its more maintenance and less user friendly. Logs have little to no draw resistance.

And log would be easier/less cumbersome to pair with water pipe.
What is it about the eq people dislike?

He smokes several joints a day and anyway solo can't get to the high temperatures for hash. I don't know. I'll just educate him about both the nano and eq, then let him decide. I hope he chooses the nano.

The EQ also has a variable temp, but its smoother because its airier, even when loaded with more herb set at the "same" temp the EQ will deliver an airier hit and have your herb not as extracted as what the Nano probably would have done. This is just my personal experience, the EQ with .2g of herb won't make me cough where in comparison to the UD I may. But the pull is most likely smoother with the Nano. You can turn the power up or down on the nano in ~0.1 increments on a dial that does from 1 to 10. Needless to say you can adjust for flavor/smoothness or full on cloud production.
