I am hoping I put this in the right place on the forum.
I just got sent one of these to try and review, sent to me from a friend on the east coast, and wondered if anyone here has even heard of it? I found very little web presence, a just a few youtubes from a cup or similar event and a website. It just came in the mail today.
So far my first impressions are mostly good, but little mixed. It functions as it should so far, feels a little "plastic" to me, maybe I just need to get used to the build. Has a silicone grip finish on the outside, fairly small, fits the hand well. The oven heats pretty fast, sort of reminds me of the pax oven (ss, direct herb loading), only its shaped like a cylinder. Its body is shaped similar to the Pinnacle. Has a pop on/off mouthpiece made of some kind of plasic, no water tool adapter that I know of. I just stuck some silicone tube on the mp and it connects to 14mm or my 14/18 reducer just fine. On med and high settings it pumps out pretty decent vapor. The high setting is supposed to run @ 420* it definitely gets me fully medicated on high and puts out pretty thick vapor (will milk a piece if you draw slow). Takes about a minute to get to temp on the high setting. Shuts off after 10 mins. No fancy blinking lights unless the battery is low then you will see it flash or when you turn it on/off (5 clicks) 3 settings, low 360*(red) med 380*(green) hi 420* (blue) The ABV on high is evenly toasted, brown but not chocolate or coffee grounds dark like I've seen the INH004 achieve.
Its been pretty simple to use, directly load the oven as full as you want, seems to hold about .3 to .4 full, lightly tamp it down, pop mouthpiece on, and go, instructions are easy. MP has a built in removable screen, for easy cleaning. So far I've mainly used it w/glass and silicone tubing on the mp. I felt like the mp was getting pretty hot while it was on high setting. Had a bit of a silicone taste at first, and that sort of new oven taste as well, there is a silicone looking seal at the top of the oven. I put a tiny dab of coconut oil on a q tip and swabbed the silicone seal and then wiped it clean with the dry end of the qtip (careful not to get it in the oven) and that seems to have helped neutralize that taste. I noticed air holes in the bottom of the oven, so I stuck a SS screen down in there that just fits, just to add extra protection from debris falling down into or blocking the air path. It does not feel very restricted on the draw. I am not clear on where the air path comes from, I see what looks like vents on the side, at the top, near the oven, so I am assuming that is the air path. I can't say if it crosses through the internals or not. It charges from a USB port on the bottom.
I need to spend more time with this one, but thought I'd at least give my first impressions.
My main concerns here, are longevity of mp, since it "snaps" on/off repeatedly. Button presses as it should, but the 5 clicks on/off don't always work the first few tries (user error?)
I'm going to keep using it steadily for the next week or so and work up a proper review for my friend. I am not affiliated with any companies, just reviewing a (new to me) product for a friend. Here is a link to the website I found online that shows basic info about it. http://forcevaporizer.com/
here are a few pics and vids:
vids don't offer much, but here's what I found so far...
