I have bought in europe a car adaptor called MW191. a chinese product. That
offers different voltage setting . You probably find it on the web market. You have 5v, 7,5v , 9v and different plugs

Make sure your car charger is the right specs. I ruined one FM with the wrong car charger.

I'm not really tech savey with chargers, does the .28A matter? im assuming it means amps does that have to match? I thought only voltage mattered

Voltage and polarity matters, the charging IC inside the device will cap the power input to 1A whatever you provide.

Polarity = make sure your charger jack plug has the + on the inside and the - on the outside
Voltage = it must be 9V, nothing else is safe
Power output = it doesn't matter what your charger provides (the FM5 circuit will use up to 1A, if your provide more it will use only 1A, and if you provide less it will charge slower)

How does one check for polarity?

Like the display, but am not yet sure if the battery level is indicated other than it flashes when it needs charging. Mine came about half charged.

Heats up really quickly and I'm a big fan of glass tips.
Auto shutoff very short ...6 minutes. "Each enjoying have 6 minutes.then OLED display goes off, it is in sleep-mode and the device stopss heating. We can stop the sleep-mode by any operation on buttons or restart." (From manual)
I pushed the buttons, etc and the display reappears, but doesn't start to reheat. The only way I can get it to reheat is to shut it down completely and then restart it. Maybe I'm missing something? If nobody has a solution that would be great, otherwise just another thing to get used to.

At first I found the short time annoying as I'm in in for the medicinal effect and tend to try to savor my hits. So I can't comment on its "cloud" making abilities. I work too hard for my meds to waste them in huge useless clouds. Its more about flavor and effect for me.

I'm pretty sure I got 5 sessions easily (or was it 4, or was it 6?) without worrying. No doubt temp related too. Recharging now...seeems to be going pretty quickly. Seems like plenty of charge.

And I can see there is going to be a market for the glass mouthpieces. As I was rinsing mine it popped out of my hand and dropped into a cup of water in the sink. Absent that cup I'd be in trouble.

The display is pretty washed out in daylight.

5 clicks to turn on or off, but once it times out, you hold the button down for a good 3 seconds. That should get you a blinking light, indicating that it's heating up to the selected temp again.

I still do, but I think the manuf. (and it's not just this vape maker) prefers to annoy on this vs. having the battery run down. The FM goes so long on a charge though, that I think 10 min. would be fine.

Last time I checked you could get the silicone MP's on eBay. Since they're flexible (as well as unbreakable), they stay put on the vape much better. They're also easier to clean, since you can easily get a cotton swab or whatever into and all over the interior surface, then just rinse with water. Both materials have their pluses and minuses, and I find myself still using both.

It certainly is, and it's probably my biggest criticism considering the short 'vaping time' you get before it times out.

I got a package via DHL to my home yesterday, but of course I'm in SoCal for the weekend. I had asked to have the package held and delivered on Tuesday. Luckily my neighbor got it for me. It should contain a 5pro and a Mini. Reviews coming early next week

Is there a lower limit on the Flowermate V5 Pro's temperature range? I'm interested in low-temp vaping and would like a device that can maintain as low as 160-170C/320-338F.

Yes lowest temperature is 40°C. I love low temps too and it can do them like a champ!

Been using the device daily and I love it, incredibly fast heating time, excellent battery life, easy to clean, compact and stealthy... and good clouds!

PS: heating time is so fast that you need to be very quick to lower the set temperature when powering on otherwise it would reach your last temperature (usually high) before you can react!

I am with @KeroZen here; the Pro is in my permanent rotation. I think it works best with a firm pack (which is interesting, because I don't pack at all with my 5.0 and 5.0s).

This thing functions like an Ascent, tastes nearly as good at all temps, and is quite a bit easier on the wallet.

I am very happy with what SMISS produced. They really knocked it out of the park!

I just got a 5.0Pro from Puffitup to use as my throw away for my trip. I don't wanna throw it away and i really want to put some herb it it now, but I want a clean vape for the plane . Last time i took my Crafty to Europe and back, but just don't wanna chance it again. I grabbed a V8.0 from mass drop , but after getting it, it's just to big to lug around A'dam .
