I promise you FC you will know this vape inside and out, the good and the bad, completely unbiased I have no affiliation with the company.

...want to see if there's any possibility of putting some sort of rheostat switch to adjust the temperature.

Somehow i'm expecting you to find there's no temperature control (and hence no sensor) after i've noticed 2 things on the company's web site:

• Output Voltage: 6.0 - 8.4V
  
• Resistance: 1.3 - 1.6 ohms

That's pretty much e-Cig language to me and the 2nd detail which rings a bell is when the guy on the video tells us how to switch it on and off:

• 5 clicks

This second item sure reminded me of the Snoop Dogg and/or similar examples.

This could be the BIC lighter of budget vapes.

To me it looks comparable to the MFLB or the palm. 1 heat setting that you control the temperature (by the amount of draw) without having to deal with external batteries.

Yea his and the vapor s thomspon reviews were the ones I linked to in the OP. They're fine reviews, but I trust all the great folks over here much more, so im just waiting patiently for Vape Dr's own FlowerMate to arrive so he can really put it to the test!
