Hey hey hey
Thanks for the tag
@Ratchett, now get back to that
other testing you!
I've used the FlowerMate Vapormax V only, the original ~380F set temp which my was a gift formy brother, and the later ~400 set temp version (what the current FM V5.0 is set at) that is my girlfriends. I haven't tried the latest Mini or the Pro with its lower temp capability. Never tried the glass mouthpieces
The lower temp worked well once broken in and lasted a year basically, still working but they like never cleaned it so its so gunked up now I dono if it can be used or cleaned. Gave them an xmax and they're loving it, more use since it can go higher temps (personally I liked that it could go lower, definitely makes it better than the FM 5S just for that reason even, much better temps), and a little easier to keep clean vs the threads and stuff in the FM mouthpieces, plus the led in these FlowerMates (Pro and mini got rid of those).
The current 400F one was way too harsh and took a longer time to break in taste wise, with that polymide tape. Now that it has its fine, but way too high of a temp for me personally, hot and harsh, but she's been using it again now that its broken in and smokes the avb. Works fine but nothing special, she also preferred my xmax with the glass mouthpiece when she tried it overall.
I've written reviews about the new xmax v2 pro in that thread, and overall I do think its better than the FlowerMate with replaceable batteries, better temp settings, airpath isolation, and others seem to like the pen style better as well. Now that the button presses work the same I think its even better, also taste seems improved now, and the new mouthpieces are really great. However the low temps capable by the Pro could be worth it, full temp spectrum, but still FlowerMates take a lot longer to burn off factory tastes with that polymide, and open airpath and no replaceable batteries. The ovens themselves are ceramic session conduction and work more or less the same, though the FM's bottom screen is fused and much worse, xmax has a better set up in the bottom of its oven.
