I'll be surprised if it isn't a mix of conduction and convection. I remember when the CFX (made by same company as FM) was released the Boundless guys were just oh so sure it was 100% convection and it wasn't even close.
I'll be surprised if it is a mix precisely for the same reason you are criticizing boundless. They did a complete 180, changed packaging and providing fast and friendly customer service to everyone here along the way. I don't know a lot of retailers who would do that. This is the same model as the boundless CFV but the CFV has a few extra parts.

Hope you're right!

It's a pre-production unit, so it would be inappropriate for me to get into any detail about it. But I don't think I'm out of line by saving you guys from false speculation about it's convection aspects. They are very open about it being convection, and they have achieved this.

Oh wow, then interest in this now exists for me. Session automatic convection with no constant cooking? Or on demand even? I know I know you just said you can't get into detail yet :ko:

Are the internals made of good materials? I feel like boundless tried to make a gimmick crafty/mighty with cheaper internals. Hope this isn't the same.

I thought I heard from the Boundless youtube videos on the CFV, that they are basically the same unit internally but the outside shell and accessories may be slightly different. Boundless is including extra internal chamber rings possibly like an extra wood ring and Flowermate may only be including a steel and glass ring. Boundless made it clear that they are not trying to "cover" up that Flowermate is also releasing a full convection vape and I guess they split the costs of the molding or production with Flowermate. They will be releasing at the same time too I thought. check out their videos on youtube, they are long but they answer a lot of questions and show the rings and device a little too.

Very interested in this new beauty! I am pretty content with my lineup but I would really love a more pocketable on-demand vape since Mi Laana is more oriented for home use for me. I loved the Crafty but it was very flawed imo. Swift guy here looks to be an improved and much better looking Crafty-like vape minus the conduction aspect, minus the unnecessary bt app, plus exchangeable battery, plus bowl material choice and hopefully plus better longevity. VAS got me again! Shit!!!

Is it confirmed the battery will be exchangeable in either the Swift Pro or the Boundless CFV?

I think this is something they wanted, but from what I've seen of the Swift packaging, it doesn't seem to have happened. Just something to keep in mind if you're keen for it. Also its not really an on-demand vape, its marketed as a session one. It could be "on demand" with small loads you finish up in 10 puffs or something though.

Boundless CFV won't be in this incarnation, after the CFC I think all future versions will have replaceable batteries, it just didn't make it in this time. Flowermate side I can't comment.

My guess is that they shy away from the liabilities in case of problem here. At least by having it fixed they ensure all users will have the proper high discharge battery...

Note that DaVinci gave us the same reason for the Ascent back then.

Both will unfortunately lack any replaceable battery.

My bad then! If that's the case VAS has calmed a bit for now... :p

Still a vape worth looking at though. :)
