hey FC i have been vaping on and off for over 3 years and almost exclusively for about 6 months. i have only owned portable vapes in the past. had a mflb which i did not like so i sold it and a solo that i loved but is sadly no longer in my possession. i currently have the pinnacle which i love... its efficient and great for personal use but definitely not for multiple people.

I have decided to get a desktop because they have much longer lifespans than portables and tend to out preform them as well. after reading most of both threads i have narrowed down my choices to the LSV and e-nano. i was looking for a direct draw piece with temp control so they both fit the bill.

This vape will be used mostly by myself but occasionally with friends who normally combust. I will not be using my vape for
vapor bonging so these will be used simply with the transfer wands. i have already weighed the pros of each vape.

LSV
customizable
user replaceable parts
longer warranty
more well known company

e-nano
smaller
more efficient

I am honestly leaning towards the LSV but i am concerned about efficiency. can i use small amounts in the LSV on low temp and have a nice slow session if i want? the e-nano is very efficient which is great but sometimes i like to have long sessions so the e-nano would need to be repacked and LSV would not i think.

with portables i am used to putting in about a solo stem worth and getting about a 10 min session. are both vapes capable of doing this but also able to satisfy friends when they use it?

thanks in advance for your help FC any advise is much appreciated.

I dont know about the lsv but I own a nano and it is great for dry hits out of the glass wand. You can pass it around pretty easily and you use half of a solo bowl. I feel like the nano really excells at dry hits, its designed to bring in a lot of fresh air with your hit so iys very very smooth. I'm sure the lsv is awesome as well, just a little big for me I think.

Yes but big hitters used with small amounts aren't as satisfactory as far as the vaping expericence goes. 'Did I get a hit?' the user asks, as the draw seems to contain only air. You end up judging how much vapor you're getting afterwards, by the effect you get rather than evaluating the hit itself. Efficiency is a tricky definition when it comes to vaporizers, as it depends more on the user than the unit being used. Smaller hits are more satisfactory when the bowl and air path are also smaller, and big hitters and bag fillers psychologically urge you to fill 'er up and hit big.

The e-nano can be used as a dosing vape, with smaller hits that can still satisfy your need to 'feel the hit', and can also deliver bigger hits when used with a glass piece. Adding water filtration kind of makes it two vapes in one.

I was faced with the same decision a few weeks ago. I wanted very similar things out of my vape. I ordered the LSV but then canceled and ordered the E Nano instead. I'm happy I went with the E Nano. Its very conservative and versatile. I can milk my bong or take sips of tastey vapor as I please. The LSV is great, it just didn't satisfy my needs as well. The LSV is a big vape too, even larger when the transfer wand is attached. I think some people have reported using the E Nano in the car, but I think the stem would be awkward and dangerous to use while driving :2c:

I considered the LSV/Nano question myself, and went with the Nano. Couldn't be happier. Looks a hell of a lot better, is made in the USA by a one-man company, is more efficient, can fog up glass beautifully. And you can always get yours personalized. Just check out this:

Hello E-Nano!

I remember it now. :ko:

EDIT: OF COURSE, THAT'S JUST MY OPINION. I COULD BE WRONG.

Just some thought on your opinion.

How come it "looks better" - I dunno how you declare that, both are totally different vapes...what does it mean "looks better"
And more efficient... have you tried both that you again declare it is more efficient...

By "looks better," I mean having the E-Nano sitting out is a lot more pleasant to look at - as in a beautiful log vape instead of a big metal monstrosity. Just my opinion. But after seeing log vapes, I find 7th Floor products to be a bit of an eyesore.

I have used the LSV, and found it to be comparable to my DBV as far as efficiency goes. Not bad, but I end up using significantly less when using my Nano compared to my DBV and the two times I used the LSV, mostly just due to the nature of the Nano. But yes, I should have mentioned that efficiency can and will vary with different users.

Either way, YMMV.

I did not intend to suggest my post was the gospel truth or anything.

They do have a rather "mechanical" look to them; as opposed to the "organic" look of a log.

i understand it is all opinion especially when it comes to aesthetic. thanks everyone for there input. also i think saying the e-nano is more efficient than the lsv is kind of a fact. log vapes are always very efficient.

I love my LSV! It looks great(I like the metallic machined look a lot), milks my glass effortlessly, and kicks my ass every time I use it!! With that being said I think they are 2 really different animals. My advice...get both!! :D
