I’m looking to buy a portable vape for use while I visit family in a recreational state during the winter holidays and I’ve narrowed it down to the Crafty or the FW5 and need help making my decision. I know in a lot of ways they are very different vapes, but I think that either of them would likely serve me well for this purchase and have been unable to find much in the way of comparison between them. I expect that’s partly due to how different they are, but I hope that one of you may have useful info.
I’m going to be primarily using it myself, though I expect I’ll be sharing with family who are unfamiliar with vapes on at least 3 occasions. I want to use it both with concentrates and dry herb though primarily dry herb. My budget is about $200. I won’t have a back up vape so I want it to be reliable. I’ll probably be using it 3-4 times daily for 2 weeks and will have the ability to charge it or swap out batteries if needed between sessions and will then subsequently be using it 3-4 times a week when I’m back with all my other vapes. When I’m traveling I’ll need it to be able to effectively knock me out in the evening to help with insomnia and chronic pain, and will need it to be reasonably good at lower temps to help with pain while leaving me able to socialize with family who do not partake. I will primarily use it outside and I know that there are potential issues there when it is cold but will be able to allow it to warm up inside first if I needed to.
I’d also love to use either through water so anyone who has experience or comparisons on that functionality it’d be greatly appreciated, but the primary usage will be without a water pipe.
I’m hoping that some of y’alls opinions can help me make a decision today while things are still on sale.
