DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. DO NOT LIGHT RANDOM THINGS ON FIRE. DO NOT DO THIS!
A lot of the pictures are cut off, view them separately to really get a good look!
Some of you probably have no idea what in the world fire spinning is. Well, it's exactly what it sounds like, it's taking something thats on fire and swinging it around! There are a lot of different toys which include: Rope Dart(what I spin) which is a long rope with a head on the end, Poi which are 2 much smaller lengths of rope with heads on both ends that you swing together, Staff which is exactly what it sounds like(a staff with wicks on the end) and a bunch of others. The things that are lit on fire are kevlar and fiberglass ribbon or rope thats tied into a knot. The type of knot that my fire head is is called a cathedral:
You soak it in white gas and then light it on fire! Last night I had the opportunity of getting a lot of pictures taken and a video. Hope you guys enjoy!
Here's the video. It wasn't a very great burn as you can't see what I'm doing with the rope itself but still quite a good video!
