Filtering vapor through flowers

This isn't my original idea but I can't for the life of me remember where I heard it, I wanted to put it on FC though because if it works it sounds incredible. We all know that vaporizing can leave behind that sticky brown resin-type stuff (wand hash) so what if during vaporbonging you put nugs in the glass instead of water. The idea is that the wand hash that would instead collect on the glass will hopefully get on those nugs and you're left with flowers covered in hash oil. I also feel like the flavor of the vapor would be somewhat enhanced. Anybody want to try this or ever tried it? I'm curious.

interesting...haven't done it and probably won't feel compelled to do it unless it's low grade for experimentation. I wonder about the taste...it may be enhanced or compromised. I think it would be better to just process the wand hash separately...

You'd have to get those nugs in just the right place so that they are far enough away from the heat to not be altered but close enough to be in the vapor condensation zone. Thinking of the vapes I have, I'm trying to figure out where they should be placed.

It would be great, though. I had a little pipe for smoking that had a chamber for this and the nugget came out looking nasty but hitting great!

Honestly seems like more trouble than its worth. Assuming you have glass where getting the nugs in and out won't beat them up too bad, and you have a piece that will hold them nicely, then sure. I guess you can't do this with water. I would rather fill the bong with rose pedals and vape through that, it would taste good and filter particulates. Honestly though no offense I think this idea is ridiculous. I would never choose to reclaim waterpipe resin to begin with and I would never drop my dank nugs in any of my bubblers... "Here let me just stick a half ounce in my mobius ion before we vape guys, oh yeah we also can't use water guys."

Yeah I didn't really think of that, I suppose you could use scissors but it would still be a challenge.

I'm thinking you could get one of those "carbon filter" attachments, remove the carbon (and wash!), add a couple nugs (and an extender joint maybe?), and then add the vape to the female.

I wouldn't bother with it myself, honestly.

Not much of a problem if you use a vaporizer that can handle whole nugs... there aren't many, and it would probably be troublesome to "stir" sticky nugs...

Do you mean tucking it into the handle portion? I would imagine the bowl is still too close to the heat...but lining up a few pieces in the handle would probably soak up alot of wand hash. Just not sure it's really worth the effort overall to be honest.

Honestly sometimes I do something of the same idea but not the same. When inverse hitting my EQ (vape on top elbow on bottom) I sometimes loosely place finely ground herb or even ABV in the elbow screen and leave it for a couple weeks of inverse hitting. After just a week its already coated with a decent amount of wand hash, and I smoke or vape it whenever i feel like taking it out.That elbow load gets me right stoned like wand hash should...

Of course I can only do this on the small scale, but its still nice to do.

Just wanted to chime in and tell you all (especially @stickstones as he owns the unit) that there is a Vapolution 2.0 glass accessory just for that. It's called the "Infuser" and comes in two versions (one for the vap2 and one for generic glass)

Someone tested it in the vap2 thread if you are interested. For the price, I'd say give it a try and see for yourself!

i made a few post about this a while ago in a few threads

been doing this for years
the best set is long gone however one day i replace it wish i had pics but its easy to make we used jars
cork for the top and glass tubing the vape pass thru your flowers pre ground lol don't use nugs
screens would keep it from going inside the bag.

yes this back in the old days of using heat guns large jars but instead of one we used two jars

the main goal was to make crappy herb infused with oils from the good stuff it worked very well/

easy to use with any vape You just hook up and vape however to a long bong just fill in ground herb in the bong use a few screens on top perfect use for that 4 foot bong you have hidden away lol


if your on a budget you can try the exhale method long glass tube filled with ground bud screens on both sides and just exhale thru the tube the mouth piece use carbon and Zeolite (keeps moisture out of the tube removes some smell ) If your doing dabs this a must lol

Yep, this has been my approach too - though with cotton instead. It quickly accrues wand hash.

This wand hash cotton then goes into my PNP portable bullet. This is a very effective and easy portable delivery of meds - just tear of a piece of the oily cotton and shove in PNP bullet. My SSV usage is enough to supply all of my PNP portable use as well as all my medibles.

Use a carbon filter or similar and just put a screen with some nug in. Been doing variations of this one for a while now again.
