Fenix 2 battery change

hello combustion fuckers !
Does anybody use this vape and changed its battery ? its starting to wear out and i would not replace the entire unit (i could order a custom sized battery to fit).
The only issue i have at teardown is that i cannot pull the vape outside the metallic enclosure. Must be something i am doing wrong...

i removed the bottom plastic cap and the 4 screws but it still wont come out

I think you might be out of luck. I read the various vaping forums and haven't ever seen a post about replacing a Fenix 2 battery.

Hi there, I wonder if there was any news on this topic? I am very happy with my Fenix 2.0, and while the battery is still fresh it will deplete at some point.

I got to the same point as @HAL9000, I believe the next step would be to remove the display cover (when you shine a flashlight through it you can see the hooks on the side, at least I think those are hooks), but I am too chicken to break it...
