Can any of the natives recommend a rec dispensary that might be off the tourists radar? My big fear is they just arent going to be able to handle the influx of people and things will be in short supply. Probably a good thing out staters can only buy 1/4 a day.

Hi, a very trusted local recommends Mile High, close to the stadium. Best quality.
If you have a rental car and don't mind a 30 minute drive, I love Green Grass Alt Med
which is a rec and med shop in Central City. Tiny old mining town which fyi also has
several casinos if you are into that.

We do have a rental and I have zero problems driving for good stuff. I think in Monday it wont be as bad as the weekend but Im figuring the rec shops are going to be hit hard.

I plan to go to Monday's session of the cup with @lovinlivinlife . Also, since we haven't been able to finalize a plan for an FC get together, I thought I'd throw out the idea of a pre-cup brunch on Monday morning. Would folks be interested in that?

Found some stuff going on around Denver Cup weekend (besides all the big events like the cup, 420 rally, and 420 in the Streets)

Denver Freedom Festival - Free party being thrown Friday and Saturday night.

Green Labs Classes and Brunches - I was thinking about maybe checking out the Saturday Cannabis and Coffee Class. Anybody know anything about this place? @c76man (they actually show a Collie Buddz Brunch listed at 10:00 on Monday but no pricing or way to sign up, to bad the Hash and Hashbrowns Brunch is on Sunday)

Tip for all the folks visiting CO: Make sure you drink plenty of water. Between the altitude and dry climate, it is easy to become dehydrated. Not to mention all of the cannabis consumption that will be going on.

Hydration PLUS lots of sunscreen so your head isn't beet red like mine is currently from standing in a parking lot for hours yesterday, and it wasn't even that sunny.

Be prepared for random rain of extreme proportions as well. Even out of nowhere on a 70+ degree day. Seems 4/20 is always blessed with great weather in Denver, but the first 710 cup got flooded hard. Just insanity. Still the best cannabis related event I have been too, even with the rain.

I'm not a ginger, and been exposed to Florida sun for over a decade, BUT the sun is like right on top of you with this crazy elevation.
