I'm so psyched this thread exists- I'm definitely going. Planning to have a bar table with a VB2 but might just want to walk the show instead and not work.

Colorado dispensaries are bizarre - I just don't understand. They are set up beautifully, look just like the higher end dispensaries here. The wax at the $40 level is out of stock all the time. So we got the $60 and $80 stuff. And the quality? The worst black tar bs I've ever seen. (my IG link) There were dudes all over craigslist who purport to deliver real stuff. Ha! Guess California is still relevant.

For anybody who wonders show dates and location the denver cannabis cup website is a good place to start

Botanico has $50 grams of live resin, and $30 grams of shatter everyday. Sun-Thurs before 11am I believe it's $5 off each gram as well. I can't believe Native Roots sold that shit.

Not in that close of vicinity, sorry. My experience has been that the downtown shops are more targeted toward tourist, so they will have higher prices, and really long lines because someone who has literally never touched weed is asking a lifetime's worth of questions while you wait behind them. Of course, I haven't been to them all, and things do change, but that has been my experience, especially around 4/20. Hopefully some CO natives can chime in with some better advice.

So what's the word on this FC Meetup? Me and a buddy will be in town, just not attending the Cannabis Cup. Let's get this ball rolling!

Why do you say its a struggle? I've personally never been before and this will be my first time going. What should I be expecting? I've seen youtube videos were it looks like they give away a lot of stuff and everyone seems to be having a great time to me.

I consider my self very educated on herbs though I've never been to a legal dispensary and I can see myself being very excited/curious/overwhelmed my first time and asking a lot of questions. (So I guess id be that tourist holding you up lol) I really wouldent mind waiting though as long as I got a good product. That's just my opinion.
Also I looked up the prices at many of the recreational dispensarys in Denver and I dident think any of the prices were expensive compared to what it gos for in my area.

For anyone interested I just booked a ride on the "dab bus" for 4/20 lol. Its a bus limo that takes you from the high times cup to the fiddlers green theater for the snoop concert. ( round trip)
You get two complentary dabs with your ticket and they provide all kinds of rigs and smoking devices for the ride there.
I'm booked for the 330 pick up and tickets are only 40$
Look for me, I'll be the guy super stoned swinging on the stripper pole lol

Tech Center is a fairly decent drive from the Cup and downtown as a heads up. Traffic can be pretty bad depending on the and time.

If you check out thecannabist.co (not .com but .co), they have some news stories on there about the 420 friendliness of hotels. The bottom line, anecdotally, is that many of the area hotels are hyper sensitive to cannabis smells. Much more so than before legalization. Unless you have a smoking room, then most hotels say they will charge you a pretty high cleaning fee if you use cannabis in the room. As we all know, vaping smells are much easier to hide than smoking.

There are very few hotels that are openly 420 friendly. This is further complicated by the fact that it is illegal to use cannabis in public in CO. Although rare, you could get a ticket for vaping in public. In reality, the police generally don't go to the trouble, but they could.

We were going to buy tickets on the Dab Bus, I had them in my cart and then we realized the VIP tickets provide transportation. Im sure not as cool as the Dab Bus tho

I went to native roots while in Colorado this week. Their prices were expensive, but they had a special going, $75 quarter of their girlscout cookies and the herb was very nice, so I was fine with the price.

Both times I was in Co recently, I just made sure to get a hotel with a balcony/deck, and I vaped on the balconies all the time w/o any questions or problems.


I am still hoping to come, but its not set in stone.

Ill get another one of the Auber nails.. they are cheap enough to toss that its no big deal.

Buy a little Honey Badger ala Nectar Collector or similar glass straw, torch and little glass dab jar.
I think we paid like $15 each for straws last year out there. I kept everything in my backpack, dabbed whenever i wanted(at the Cup, not just walking around nilly-willy). Quick, efficient, cheap, and at that pricepoint, disposable.

Honestly, we went to gatlinburg for valentines and forgot to bring the torch, so I had to pick one up at a local headshop. I was happily surprised to find it was only $18, and it has become our go to torch as it is so much quieter than the BBB one

I've been thinking of flying out for the cup weekend but really would like to know if we can throw together an FC meetup.

From watching the videos I am not so sure that my old ass (36) belongs at the actual Cup. Plus I will be coming out solo so standing in long lines alone doesn't sound like the best time. Especially in the frame of mind I will likely be in..... , ,

But I would really be interested in meeting up with people from this great forum. Doesn't look like @Naeco06 has been around lately but maybe him or another Denver native could throw out some suggestions on a meetup place.

Seems like the only place in Denver that allows on-site use is Ibake Denver. I called them and was informed that they will be super packed all weekend and if you don't purchase the VIP ($99.00) you are probably not going to be able to get in.

There are some places outside Denver that might work but I figure most of us will be staying in Denver.

So people of FuckCombustionLand. Are we going to do this or what?
