If you have multiple stems, you can pack several and just hot swap them. I prefer my solo in large groups for 2 reasons. First, the solo is relatively cheap so I don't get as nervous passing it around with my $40 bubbler as I would passing my VXC ontop of my $450 mobius. Second, aside from a few select friends, most people I would be around in a party environment don't know the first thing about vaporizers so with the solo I don't have to give a lesson to everyone.

Yeah I must agree with @clouded vision if the Solo is mated with a water piece, its pretty self-explanatory, and can easily be passed around the room.

No to be honest I have not. I have done it on 400F with the NO2 and couldn't believe the dense vapor.
Still I don't think of a vape with a stem that holds less then .50gm to be a party vape. Maybe that's just me being an old fart and having a different definition of the word 'Party'.
Nothing is much easier then passing around a Pinnacle/ Wt but still...................................

The finish on the FAKE PAX looks like lines or kind of like a wood grain.
The finish on the REAL PAX is a uniform texture and is mostly smooth and has a somewhat matte look to it.

Any vape that you have to make modifcations to accommodate 3 or more people is not a party vape imo. Anything you have to load more than one bowl same thing.

Yeah, I've seen that video and I've been using the finish as an indicator also.
I literally just turned someone down 10 minutes ago from Craigslist that I met up with because it was an obvious counterfeit blue one. Stripped lines, blue light for heat up, phillips head screw... ugh.
Solo is becoming more and more feasible. lol

While I'm not trying to discourage you from the solo because I absolutely love mine, from what I have read in the thread on the bootleg pax, they are made by the same factory in China that ploom contracted to manufacture the pax parts for them. Based on that I would assume they are very similar but you won't get the 10 year warranty. Of course if you buy used off craigslist, you aren't getting the warranty anyway.
I have to disclose that I haven't checked that thread in months though so there could be new issues discovered with the counterfeits that I'm not aware of.

It's definitely portable. Small and stealthy.
I've heard it hits a little rough on the throat? But I've always been combusting so I bet I'd be ok.
I see on ebay they go for around ~160, but there is an OBO option.
Maybe I'll throw an offer for cheaper...

Just an aside... with an undomed solo stem, I can get tasty, thick vapor for a full session (12 minute timer) on level 3 and 4. As such, I was able to pass it around (dry stock stem) between 4 people. It took 2 stems but everyone got very baked and everyone but me was a combustion only smoker.
