FC Fantasy Football!

Ok guys let's get a FC Fantasy Football league going! This will be a free league for bragging rights only. There are already 6 of us interested.

We have a little over 2 weeks to establish the league and draft. I think this should be plenty of time as long as we get enough interest. For now I will set a tentative draft date of Sunday, September 2, at 7pm EST. This date can be changed so please don't base your interest on the draft date alone.

I'd like to get a 10 team league going. That number could change depending on the demand.

7pm on a Sunday, eh? I can already tell you that I'll be vaked out of my gord at that hour on a Sunday.
I think it should be a requirement that you're vaked when making draft picks. That way it levels the playing field for everyone.

Ah, 4pm PDT is better than 7pm. If my math is correct, it's almost 3 hours better.

Hell, who am I kidding? I'll be equally vaped at 4.

I'd like to get everyone into the league so you can see the settings I've chosen and then we can discuss any desired changes. All I've done is start with the default settings and then made a few changes to make the league a little higher scoring. Small bonuses for total completions, receptions, 40+ yard plays, etc. I have played in a bunch of leagues using this system and found it very enjoyable.

I think we should consider changing our draft time to get JDSupreme into the league. I'll throw out a few suggestions and it would be great if you guys could reply and let me know which ones work for you and hopefully we can all agree on one.

Earlier on the same day, 9/2 @ 3pm EST / 12pm PST
Saturday 9/1 @ 9pm EST / 6pm PST(I can't do earlier on this day due to an in-person live draft I must attend)
Friday 8/31 @ 7pm EST / 4pm PST
Friday 8/31 @ 9pm EST / 6pm PST

Or if anyone else has some more suggestions, please feel free.

If you're a fan of the game at all then you should definitely try it out! It's pretty easy to learn, doesn't take up too much free time, and best of all it makes watching football even MORE fun. You find yourself personally invested in almost every game that airs.

You're more than welcome to join us and learn the game If you're interested just shoot me a private message with your email and I'll send an invite. Also the online live draft can take around 90min so make sure to plan for that.
