and now, the demons.


The demon of silence

created from the accumulated bad energy of holding things inside and letting them manifest inside you as a series of twitches and nervous movements. the demon of silence.

The demon of laughter
closed my eyes in a time of pain where all I can do is laugh.

Artemis and the portal of 10 years
sat at a group channeling and closed my eyes and drew this ancient symbol. it represents that which remains constant at all points, like an unresolved issue or a love held from the past

It still beats inside my chest - even after all of this.
when sharp, cold shivers come from within and you shake from head to toe on the floor, repeating sad mantras like 'I did my best' and crying, this is projected onto the wall behind you for the spirits of past lives to see and mourn your hardships

NICE!!!! It reminds me a little of Ralph Steadman. Really expressive lines and the black on white is powerful. I can feel your subconscious speaking. It's a little eerie in a way, with all the symbolism, but then that's the language of the mind!

Wo!!! Glad to hear that. I'm a fan of Hunter S. Thompson, and I really like Steadman's work. I got a flash from your bird piece. Those birds in Fear and Loathing... You can practically hear the cawing in the splash of black ink.
btw your reply to Gigaurora: "Your comments always take my perception of my art and my life to the next level. It makes me very proud and gives me energy. Thank you!" was what I thought about you! Thanks for helping me get through my artistic block, Deja Vu!!!

My pleasure I havent done any good art in a while, been in a year-long block myself.. But this thread is doing something for my confidence that nothing else could do, and it's getting me to appreciate the visual imagery in my mind all over again which will inevitably lead to some beautiful artwork. Eveyrthing in this thread to me is considered Version 1 stuff. The old ages of my consciousness. Next level shit is in the making

Smoked lots of bongs, drew an all-killing all-consuming beast! Very spiritual

and then 2 days later I read a poor girl's soul like an open book and transcribed this.

these are awesome!! The drawing is really good and I like the pasting in of the random content. It would be cool for you to do more collaging with your drawing + the cut - out - of - context words. The message hits straight to the subconscious and can be interpreted uniquely by each viewer. It felt like both the message and the symbols were talking directly to me (hadn't even vape today yet).

That's true for some. They feel they have no hope, as you said, " all the doors had been closed". That's the bottom line for some people, they have no support system or may not want any.

If all the doors seem closed...that can be opportunity. To go inside and find a happiness that isn't so dependent on the outer world.

I'm glad it impacted you two also. It holds a meaning to me as well, and was also created with the intention of holding a special meaning of all who read it.

You might like to know that it was the first page of a book that i made called The Book of You which is incomplete, but still has a few pages that continue the effect of this page. It is about you specifically. Quite a magical thing to pull off, I was in a divine state of mind when I made it that's for sure haha. I'll find the other pages of it as soon as I can, but at the moment here is the 2nd page. Stay tuned for more please I'll tag you both when I find page 3.

Thanks for putting those up in such high resolution. Looked nice on my multi monitor setup
I like them, and I enjoy their tone. It feels farminllar, as if they speak to me from an ancient Egyptian house or temple, which would be otherwise cold had it not be for a fire in the corner reflecting in their eyes and penetrating the surface layers of skin on their face and hands. All of the characters are crudely drawn, but show movement and natural body positioning that I imagine seeing in a surrealist's mind.

Thanks. Funny you mention the Egyptian theme....I'm trying to get this other one to upload from my phone (some minor technical difficulties here at work) that I felt was drawn on the Nile (called it "Faces appear and disappear in the Ocean of Birth and Death). Will attempt again.

i am a graphic designer, screen printer, and just all around artist (at least i tell myself i am).

i was thinking of starting a thread for FC member artiworks. this one is a good start, but the tilte sort of handcuffs it.

we need an "FC artwork" thread.
