Favourite glass/whip setup?

What are people using with their whips? I've been using a k haring rig with a lamart whip which is ... OK. Great when it works, but the 14mm adapter tends to pop out of the mouthpiece, probably because its not the intended use

I decided the Lamart adapter was too restrictive and bought a few lengths of different size internal diameter tubing so I can cut small lengths of larger diameter tubing to use as a sleeve adapters, which gives better flow.
On the on the other end I like the Arizer and Elev8R mouthpieces

Most of the time I use them with my matrix perc pieces altho I've got an FC Mod https://www.dhgate.com/product/2015-new-34-5cm-height-glass-bong-with-matrix/255741536.html? which isn't bad as a dedicated unit that you can use a standard glass whip adapter with. I didn't think much of the Matrix perc that came with mine tho to be honest but the other perc is ok and you can buy spares.
There's a few similar ideas in the Sheldon Black range https://sheldonblack.com/collections/all/bubbler (and the knock off on dhgate) and Herborizer https://herborizer.com/en/16-bodies that caught my eye for a possible future purchase.
The Sneaky pete globes (and Simrel cage) https://www.sneakypetestore.com/col...e-xl-14mm-female-joint?variant=23042985066577 are also usually recommended at this point.
A hydratube base is another option https://www.dhgate.com/product/new-...-perc/386035662.html?skuid=306847456630923266 which looks like it should be stable on the table (which is a factor for me) altho not as easy to get a brush in there to clean as some of the others (which is also a factor lol)

Or if stability isn't an issue, a stand with a cork in the base, with a 2 way splitter and ashcatchers (or not) can be fun, like stoner lego :D

I didn't love the diameter/restriction of the silicone tubing that comes with SneakyPete's globe/adapters, so I grabbed some thicker diameter silicone brewery tubing and I use an 18mm female-14mm male adapter and some silicone o-rings instead. The diameter never gets restricted below 14 mm this way.

Damn! Wish I would have seen this before I ordered a ash catcher. Waiting for my 3 piece HD, can't wait but this would have been a nice pairing.

One of the 18mm tube adapters and piece of tubing that came with the Sticky Brick Hydro Maxx (w/a repurposed cheapo, otherwise completely unusable carb cap as a mouthpiece) is the best I've used yet, much bigger/better tubing than what came with the Sneaky Pete Mini-Globe (RIP), very little restriction...! :tup::peace:

I think I have the same rig as you and I’m looking at other glass now I just don’t love it for a DD
