Fastest and finest grinder for small amounts?

It's truly made to use sitting on top of a Launch box since as you grind the herb falls out of the bottom, I've had ok results holding it on top of a JyARz while I grind. I know many people use pre-ground herbs in theirs but it works fine with just a couple pieces of bud for me.

i meant the Nano grinder not the finishing one.

That grinder looks like a small Space Case as the teeth look same...I have the small 2 piece Space Case....and it looks identical to the teeth spacing.....not going to give you fine grind unless you grind for a a few minutes...lol

Believe me....you have 0 too loose by trying the cheap small herb mill from S&B.

Below is my small SC and the smaller S&B......notice the spacing between the teeth....also the teeth on the S&B are shorter and are wide at bottom and small at top (pyramid shaped).....the teeth are close together and it keeps the flower grinded quick and more fine. 2 or 3 quarter turns and you are done usually pending on moisture.

Plus so much easier to clean the S&B with a quick brushing. You just have to get remove the stems before grinding as much as possible.

funny, i just bought S&B last week and i personally think it grind me worse than the cheaper plastic one.
i do many turns and it doesn't really help.

Then you must have issues with the flower you using......is it cured? I can blow through wet stuff too and it separates and grinds it....in a regular grinder...it just gets stuck and compacted and not fluffed at all.

The finishing grinder is good but it is small and it’s more of a cheese grater than a grinder..it’s definately a cheese grater type..I really liked it but only does small amounts like a bowls or so worth and the metal grate would get gummed up... it’s like a ,eta, ring with holes in it and the top piece of grinder pushes the herb down and as you turn the weed gets grated..and it’s a fine ass grind..not dust but it’s a grind where your bud will look likes it’s moving..lol..

what I'm using most is the secret weapon II

DO you mean the Super Weapon II? Or is there also a Secret Weapon II that someone else makes?

I have two Super Weapon II's. Google Search for "Secret Weapon II Grinder" didn't turn up anything relevant.

Im less keen on the grating system and getting gummed up tbh

another option - tough it is not a grinder - is using a sharp knife (butchers knife for instance).

Works well to me tough using a grinder is more comfortable.

From what I heard the newvape fine grinder is one of your best options.

You may want to look into SantaCruzShredder as well?

I know about not needing extra fine grind but more fluffy convection grind.
I just need something a bit more fine than my simple plastic one that surprisingly makes a better job than S&B orange grinder which shreds medium.
And i need the smallest size cause i do around a bowl at a time.

Then just wait for the new Brilliant Cut Grinder to come out soon....it will work better than anything out now.

I have a cheap plastic one AND the orange S&B i bought to have a better one. But the S&B does not make a fine grind and not even consistent, while the cheap one does a better job.
But don’t forget i use around a bowl quantity so it’s not all pressed in like most folks here do.
That’s why a smallest size grinder will fit me better.

I've always found the S&B grinder to produce a very fine grind, not medium by any means. If the bud is even somewhat dry, it tends to powder it.

If the grind is more medium to your eye with the S&B, why don't you just continue to grind it til it's as fine as you want? It's a 2 piece, so the decision of when to stop is all up to you.

Perhaps you're just stopping grinding too soon?

I see no reason to do endless turns in this day and age..
If this is the only way to make finer grind then it’s a bummer.
my S&B also has no magnet so it’s also less convenient.

...but that's a how a 2 piece grinder works. You control how fine it is by how much you turn it. Finer grinds take more turns, it's physics.

You seem to be looking for a top tier, ultra fine grinder with a very consistent grind...but want it for ~$30. That's just not going to happen.

Price
Quality
Efficiency/Consistency of grind

You get to pick 2.

First of all tnx for the discussion.
Efficiency is the 1st and most important.
So a small fast grinder for small quantity? I can see myslef paying around 50$ tops for a 2 piece.
Or i’ll just go fro these small cheaper options wether it’s Chef grinder or Kannastor.

I have a cheap card grinder that works great for single loads worth of herb... maybe look into them if you haven't tried one.

Head Chef 2 Part Mini 30mm Review: (from 2012 by someone who left the forum)
First off, I wasnt quite prepared for how teeny this unit is. It is well made, CNCd from a single piece (or so it seems), and the magnet is decently strong. The anodized finish covers completely and seems sturdy. Although it is very small it has a hatched edge on the sides for grip which helps a lot. My previous grinder didnt have the oring, this does and I like the smoothness it adds to the grinding.
For such a tiny piece it has a lot of teeth, 14 on the top and 10 on the bottom. Loaded herb has to be broken down in to quite small chunks to fit. The finished grind is very fine and works excellently in my MFLB, but was a little too fine for Extreme Q elbow packs as it restricted air flow.
Overall I really like this unit. It is sturdy, gets a very fine grind.

seems to be exactly why i want. thanks again @RUDE BOY for the tip.
