Depends entirely on if I have anything in my stomach.

Never really timed it, but on an empty stomach I would say 30 minutes

With a broad definition of edible, I find the fastest is a gummy under the tongue for sublingual ingestion.
Much faster than thru the tummy!

My first time was by accident with some tough to chew gummies so tried under the tongue to melt them and it hit quick

If you had an alcohol-based tincture that you didn't want to use anymore.

Could you mix it in with honey, leave uncovered and wait for the alcohol to evaporate, and be left with cannabis-infused honey?

Why not evaporate the small bit on a plate and see what's left over? Probably a nice resin of sorts.

IMO drinks are quicker than edibles.
Ripple is kinda a nice hybrid and also fast acting.
