Their is a bunch of fake police callers that will call you and either leave a message or speak to you indicating they have a warrant for your arrest Yadayada. These are scammers. A real police office would indicate their badge number, and tell you to go the nearest police station.
They try to get information from you, to use for identity theft, and some even try to get money from you indicating you can do away with a fine. They might even know your first and last name. Disregard this, Ask for a badge number and which police station they are working from. Than to make sure if it was real which propably is not you can call the police station and verify the officer and badge number.
Their numbers appear, as RCMP on display but disregard this unless you are expecting a call from the police and verify their badge number.

Did not know where to post this but hopefully this helps people be prepared . apparently they are not just doing this in Canada. Its other countries as well.
