Hi FC, I've done a search on this term I see coming up from time to time in the forums. "Heatsoaked"

Can someone elaborate on what this means?

I'm thinking that it might refer to when the herbs get up to vaporization temperature either through conduction or by convective hot air... But I'm not 100% sure at this point...

Thanks!

Basically, it's just as the term sounds. Heat soaking is the process of letting the heat transmit throughout something before you start using the vape.

In the case of my E-Nano - I heat-soak the glass stem which is holding my material so I get a bit more vapor production before I start hitting. - The material itself doesn't get very hot during this heat-soak, but the glass helps distribute the convection heat during the draw.

In the case of portable vaporizers where heaters are relatively under-powered, "heat-soaking" can refer to letting your heater conduct heat throughout the packed load before you begin drawing
