Just saw this thread last night and hot damn, that is some gorgeous stuff! Could someone give me a ballpark of the cost for one of the UD logs, start to finish (all parts, shipping, etc)?
How thick are those flat blanks? My dad casually makes suiseki bases and they come out looking pretty damn good. I'm starting to formulate an idea for a desktop Vaping platform with routered indents for things like my SC grinder and can, glass bud containers (all the same size at my favorite retail shop), my Haze standing up, the base of my favorite glass piece, and a depressed "tray" for grinding. Then, I could do a second tier where the Haze would live while in use (horizontal, with a whip leading to the aforementioned glass). Hell, I'd probably even include a suiseki, quartz, or some of that gorgeous rose rock salt for aesthetics.
Disregarding the fact that it's ugly and not really the shape I'm looking for, here is a picture to illustrate. The risers would be brass.
Probably just a pipe dream, what do you guys think? Just look below an envision perfectly nested vape gear all over. And better wood. And better hardware.

How bout them apples!!! Just got @XeroRespect pieces yesterday, what nice blanks you sent, the Afzelia is top shelf and the Koa is spectacular, nothing but the finest pieces, you do an awesome job Snappo!
To all yall out there, no one does a better job of providing such a wide variety of burled wood species than Snappo, yeah yeah there are dealers out there on the web that offer slabs, caps and chunks of burls, I have spent alot of money at several of those dealers out there only to be let down by wet wood, hidden cracks and much less workable amounts than advertised. Snappos wood blanks and blocks are the best quality I have ever seen sourced and you can be assured that he has made every attempt to only offer the finest from what Mother Nature has blessed us with! The wood business is a strange and flaky one, alot of folks will tell ya this and that and many will never deliver, its a freaking headache at times with all kinds of hoops to jump through. Thanks Snappo for doing what you do so that I can do what I do and all can enjoy what we do! Happy Fathers day my friend!

I just ordered the left hand Afzelia with a stem blank and I love both of you. I sit here replete from my Father's day lunch (roast beef) puffing on the solo and my mind is full of wood thanks to you chaps
Also, since joining FC I have been shocked and dismayed and some of the sentences I am forced to type, 'head full of wood' ffs

Redwood Lace is beautiful! I had an oversized blank and made a Redwood Lace Dog and some matching extras(WonG, stand, poking tool) Plus it's one of my only couple dogs that doesn't need a VVPS. The heat distribution is perfect! Idk what vape you choose but I'm sure you're going to love it. As it heats and gets darker over time is also beautiful, enjoy buddy.
