A long time ago I used to smoke cannabis, but now that I'm trying to get back in it (mainly for helping with sleep) I found it was very hard on my lungs. Probably because my lungs are already damaged from chemicals in the garage! So I've been succesfully vaping cannabis for 1/2 a year or so now. I love it.
When I vape, I vape about 2 pinches of bud, (1 or 2 penny sized nugs fresh ground up) then aired out for a few minutes and vaped for 4-5 bags (Arizer Q). That's plenty for me to end my working day comfortably and help me sleep. And I've been happy with that amount every evening.
From a reputable dispensary's employees suggestion for an alternative way to take cannabis without sitting down with a bag for an hour, I tried some edibles. I first tried 5mg (which was suggested for first time edible-ers), then 10mg. Then 20, then 60. I swear I can't feel anything. I wait for 3 hours each time, then it's well past time for me to get some sleep, and I can't get to sleep, so I break out the vape for an hour.
Any suggestions? I've heard that Edibles hit alot differently than smoking/vaping, but so far I'm not getting anything at all, not even a mild relaxation. I'm not trying to stop vaping, I'm just looking for an alternative for those nights where I don't have time to sit down on the couch for an hour and tend the vape bag.
