Announcing a beaded cooling stem for Dynavap tips

The glass is 2" long and the beaded section is about 1". The wood mouthpiece in this pic is bocote, we will have more wood choices soon. Overall length with the mouthpiece and DV tip in place is 102 mm.

Yes I love my glass stem. Thanks Dave, really happy - it's the way I want to use the vapcap. I have a 2018 M but always block the carb, glass is much nicer, love being able to see the vapour. That pool cue stem was great

Now I like the sound of that. Although I think it would be hard to 'colour' the glass beads probably easier to purchase different colours. May make things a little more expensive but still very possible.

Hi Freddy! Yes we are looking at using colored beads. The problem is that most colored beads are cheap glass and these beads needs to withstand high temperature because of the manufacturing process.
So I need to find borosilicate colored beads and then we can go crazy.

Going to have some wpa units made for the dynavap

Here i just joined the glass with tubing but I'm having some made that will be fused together. Prototypes coming in a week or two

Size matters! The dynavap beaded stem in 75 mm length.
The mouthpiece, glass and dynavap tip measures about 130 mm.
I like the look of the longer stem.
Same price as the 50 mm, $45, in the store now.

I soak the entire stem in ipa or pbw or just make stem milk? They clean up great

Not necessary to pull the beads out. I have one of these (it’s fantastic!) and running it under hot water for a few seconds keeps it clean.
