Dual 18650 Power House

The element from cold takes about 5 seconds to get to 1000 F. This is a "visual vaporizer" in that once you see wispy vapor you let off the gas. The there still is a small inrush of current that brings you the rest of the way to full vapor and then it cools as you complete the draw. This puts nearly all of the heater energy into the air stream instead of into the device keeping it cool and efficient. The high volume of high grade heat minimize the heat loss the the load chamber around the edges so you get more uniform heating. As HD mentioned once you get the hang of it ther is some tasty charring but it pretty easy to not combust in my experience.

The ability of this heater technology to deliver massive amounts of heat and flow almost make this a new type of vaporizing? I call it Capacitive Discharge Vaporizing.

RBT, you are a heater engineering beast! Sounds like you can set this technology up however you like. I am pleasantly amazed and can't wait to see what you come up with next - and I'm sure after that, after that and so on.

I've had the opertunity to speak with RBT about this vaporizer. All I can do is praise this technology. I can't quit thinking that I'm in possession of the newest greatest technology on the market. How fucking cool is this. Some regular joe shmoe who LOVES his vaping.
Whenever a new product is first thought up its first renditions are never meant to be the final product. Having said that when I'm asked what I would like for a button or this and that. Shit to be honest IF ITS NOT BROKE DONT FIX IT!!! But honestly I like some really cool ideas I'm hearing and any time a builder wants to build to suit a brand new technology you really should put your best foot forward and bring some ideas. So I really like a button idea. Could put 1 on the side?
When this little death machine makes her last swath of hell threw my parts of the woods I'll be able too collect my thoughts and bring more substance to the table. @phattpiggie what's bouncing around in that twisted metal head of yours.

This one has bigger heater and bats are wired in series, I believe, so it's running on twice the voltage (of the native bats, not positive but think there is power regulation in regular zion, so might be boosting voltage above the 3.7 or so native voltage of the batteries also, but I guess not as high? And it's heater is alot less powerful anyway).

Without entering into too much details before official release, both units are using the cells in series. The Zion regulator is actually lowering the voltage in order to get it stable regardless of battery charge. This way you don't get weaker and weaker hits when you deplete the cells, instead it hits strong until the end.

So excited, guys. I love hearing news about the triple threat, I think this thing's gonna wreck everything in direct competition with it once released. Since I quit drinking, I no longer wine and dine my friends when they come over; now i prefer to "one and done" them, which usually requires combustion. Well last night I stopped at an old friends house and I couldn't stay long which is a good thing cause me and my trusty new friend wore out our welcome fast. 2 hits. That's all he could take. This is a 30+ year mj smoker. And I've had him try all my vapes and he was floored. 2 hits didn't get us half way through the load.
I'm truly amazed on the battery's life in this. My old vapes all had a VERY frustrating batt. life. It's nice not worrying about battery's dying on me. So fucking nice.

Great idea. We also could flip it and run the 18 mm with a single battery in a tear drop shape. Another possibility is 14 mm in the Zion... I think I'm getting dizzy lol

Really great talking with ya man. The first call with the beta testers is always a satisfying moment for me. After some thought the way this thing packages it begs to have @Shit Snacks button idea for the single battery manual perfected. Meaning basically what you have but perfected. I have some pretty killer ideas in the sketch book. Once we have the production Zion orders complete I think we will Beta this one... Especially if HD comes back and says he has a biker and a grandma wanting to buy one lmao... Only on FC

Holy shit this thing should have a name meaning amnesia. Heavy hitter. It's so easy to get thick clouds it's hard to stop after 1 load. Hell a hit or two will totally wreck a normal person. Too much fun to stop though.

I find most people have no problem if the stick to the "let off the gas when you see a wisp of vapor". Need to leave to colored stems to the throat sensing experts. HD said grandma has no problems... How are the motor heads doing with the Howitzer @HD Springer ?

Well I'm having a hard time with some. The more alcohol the worse the tester. We had an combustion last night. Kind of ended the night. Kind of pissed me off to be honest. Stupid fuckers won't listen. He did get a little sick. It seems it was a bit much for him. Serves the stupid fucker right. The fact it's manual and the fact it has this much power can cause problems when you don't listen. Grandma had no problems but she wasn't trying to be a rock star when hitting it either.
I can hot box my truck or my bathroom with this thing. Big clouds. It works best when your not trying as hard. If that makes sense.

Edit: my grandma friend is not the normal grandma that most think of. She's no outlaw(anymore)but she's no angel either. She does try all my toys and this is by far her favorite. But she hasn't tried a Zion yet. I think the Zion will be more her choice.we'll see.

Loving this @HD Springer it's amazing how a little tiny bit of weed can quickly become 'The Leveller'.
We've all been there.
Had a big ass Edinboro bro do the same thing on me first and only time we shared a BHO/weed single skinner. The poor fuk fell down some stairs with me laughing my tits off at him. I saved his embarrassment by telling everyone that the spider plant had attacked him.
Shame about the after burner effect but as you say alcohol and listening to instructions some times don't go together. I am sure @RastaBuddhaTao's already got his mind running on trying to stop this. Maybe a simple timer circuit so you can't put to much heat into it.

We are all adults we should be in control of our own doings. If they need to have guidance or regulating they should go with a Zion. This is a beast that can act like a lamb. There was five of us last night 3 out of 4 had great results. The less they tried to get clouds the better they did. The 1 jackass tried to follow my out put. He accomplished it until the end. Made a fool of himself.

@HD Springer so are you the only tester who has used the 18,14 and 10mm glass. Which one do you prefer or should we wait until you find Zion?
I suppose the answer in the end is don't mix alcohol and the dual 18650 let the beer drinkers raise hell with the Zion instead.
Use the dual when your summoning Lucifer himself. Funny as watching him chuck a whitey.

All day on 1 set of battery's. Checked them this morning. 3.73-3.71. Got to be kidding me. I can't tell you how much previous battery issues I've experienced. It's very embarrassing to hand a person new to vaporizing a vaporizer just to find dead battery's. Happened to me a lot. I'm not foreseeing this issue any time soon.

I do think "training wheels" goes against the spirit of this device....

Seems the battery life is steler, so v regulation probably isn't necessary... but you could toss in a lil kicker like thing to hold the volts steady at 8-9v through the entire life of the battery if you wanted with out killing that beastly feel....

I think that would be better suted for another device though, like one that needs more power.... (funny how i always think about raising voltage when ever the "regulation" word comes up, lol. Must be all the e cigs)

@phattpiggie I've only tested the 10mm/350 and this beast. I've heard rumors and seen some burning hot pics of my soon to be Zion. I've also been told she's going to be running on the warmer side. Not TOD hot but warmer none the less. I'm already having separation issues with this TOD and I still have her for 2 more days.

It seems much better to have this power and need it, then need it and not have it. It won't be the vape i give to drunk friends. It won't probably be RBT'S recommended device for a first time vaporist. But i already know i will not have issue taming this beast. In fact, it is right up in my wheelhouse. I like the idea of "dabbing" a hit or two of flower. Very cool. As an all day user, it is nice to sometimes get that punch in the face hits right before i leave my house, or go to bed, take on a task, ect. Seems like it will also be killer for when i need instant backpain relief.


It seems like it has potential to take some use away from my FF, which is currently my go to battery stealth portable.

But because i hate combustion, i will likely reserve this one for personal use or those friends very capable of following directions. Not every vape in my lineup is one i will share with everyone.

Edit. Did i mention i am a flavor junkie? Flavor is almost as important to me as effect and I hope this to be a real flavor providing device.
