I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
Was this sarcastic or serious?
You seriously have to ask me that?
Was this sarcastic or serious?
Yes.
Why?
Um... Because I wanted to know if the Dragon lite was make professionally. And not a POS.
What happened ended up happening in your dealings with the company and the return? I have the DL which I ordered for $27 free shipping on Ebay. I have had it six days not and love it. I use Powerex 2700mah and get anywhere from 20-25 12sec quality hits per charged battery. Are you twisting the battery in so it slips down against the rubber washer and then pressing? That's not a blanket, it's a screen for all your little weedy bits. I feel like the Dragon is he best bargain in vaping. It really does work just like the MFLB. Only thing that concerns me is reading that the screen can come loose so I'll just take it easy when brushing the screen.
Update still nothing sent? I check mail daily.
I will try to ask the douch-bag when he drops off the kids today he doesnt want to help support them and their health ins. and clames hes broke colecting food stamps and health care from the state , if you saw the home he ships from you would never put a dragon lite to your mouth.
signed angry stepdad of two amazing boys
Wow. Well what he say? When you mentioned it?
I missed him when he droped the kids off, for some reason he doesnt stick around very long at our house
Still waiting. Well if I never post in this thread ever again it is because my replacement never came. There is no replacement. This guy does not send out any and does not have real warranties. However if it comes. I will update.
At the very least he could have told me to not send the broken one back I could have probably fixed it. I like to try to fix things before throwing them AWAY. So this guy got the money AND the vaporizer wow.
That just about covers it, good review. So I had the opportunity to spend a week with this thing and here are my impressions...
I was going on vacation with the extended family to Walt Disney World and therefore needed a device that fit the following criteria:
1) Portable so I could use it both in my room and in the parks.
2) Stealthy so neither my non-toking family nor the park staff were made aware.
3) Inexpensive enough so that I could just toss it at the end of my trip so as to not carry a used vape onto the plane.
I'm a very happy MFLB owner and while the Dragon-Lite essentially met all of the above, I was expecting performance a bit similar to the LB and that's unfortunately where reality fell short.
The quality of the unit is as bad as people claim. The plastic outer covering and lid just feel flimsy. I'm surprised it didn't break the couple of times I let it drop on the ground. If you're taking this thing on the go a lot that could be a problem.
It was also very clumsy to hold. Considerably larger than the MFLB, it was sometimes awkward getting it to fit properly in my hand during use. I have relatively small hands for a dude, so this might not be the case for everyone, but while the Launch Box rests completely snug in my closed hand, I needed to "grip" the DL in order to use it, if that makes any sense. The DL was just overall bulkier in my pocket too.
While I first thought the separate metal sleeve for the batteries would be an improvement over having to strip the labels off like with a MFLB, I soon found that it only added to the bulk of the unit while adding one more object to fiddle with during a session. On a couple occasions I dropped the battery and sleeve making a big clanking sound on the ground. Obviously, this detracts from its stealthiness.
Performance-wise, the DL does vaporize, although not very well. It combusted my material WAY too often. Maybe there's a breaking-in period just like with the MFLB, but the DL seemed to get too hot too easily. I never combust with my MFLB anymore, so this was very annoying. Also, unlike with the LB, the DL seemed to disproportionately cook the outside of the material touching the trench and leaving the rest of the material untouched. This led to some very uneven cooking. I never really got those big clouds the way I can with a MFLB either.
At the end of the day, the Dragon-Lite is a very bare bones, inexpensive vape that does produce a limited amount of vapor. But compared to a MFLB it's not even a contest. I needed something I could throw away after a week of use, so I didn't mind dumping $40 on it. However, if you're looking for a more permanent vape I would stay away from this thing at all costs. I was very disappointed. Next time I need a "vacation vape" I may just bite the bullet on a new MFLB.
