Um... Because I wanted to know if the Dragon lite was make professionally. And not a POS. BTW my dragon lite doesn't seem to be working. I bought and charged up some 2900 MAH AA bats. and I placed it into to the Dragon Lite and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? And why is there a blanket over the area that is supposed to be wood? I mean isn't trench. Wood? At least I thought so.

It was my first, because I was saving up for a nicer vape, but needed a quick fix due to bronchitis. I actually ended up with two because that is what happens when you bid on multiple ebay listings; sometimes you win them all. >.< It was for the best, because one was loose.

It did the job, but I doubt I will ever go back to it. Charging the batts was a pain in the butt. Not to mention thumb cramps from holding the sheath in. A practiced hand would let you know how often to depress the batt. My mouthpiece never fit, in either unit. The one with the more consistent heating was the one that was loose and eventually popped apart (with a freshly loaded trench, so, that was fun).

It got me away from combustion I'd say 80% of the time. Now I'm on DaVinci and combust maybe 5% of the time and that's mainly because it is a bit of a pain to share on a pocket vape.

Update regarding Dragon Lite.
Well I tried contacting the ebayer who sold it to me and they refuse to even say anything. I contacted the people from the dragon lite site using their contact form saying:

"Hello how are you. I recently purchased a DL from an ebay auction that was described new. After receiving it it doesn't function easy. I have to press down hard with battery. I have to turn battery. Just to make work. No matter how hard I try with a fully charged battery it still doesn't seem to work easy. And it barely heats up the "herb" when working. I was hoping that you would honor the lifetime warranty and allow me to ship it to your address in return for a new one that is properly working. I would truly appreciate it. And I look forward to posting your good customer service at fuckcombustion.com to all my friends of how successfully you helped me out with this.

Please reply quickly to.

Jeremydriscoll2001@yahoo.com"

So guess now wait. And whatever their reply is I will post it so that you all can judge their response.

Well guess see soon. I personally believe that this is their last chance to look good in this forum. After all the negative stuff that has been said. About their company.

What happened ended up happening in your dealings with the company and the return? I have the DL which I ordered for $27 free shipping on Ebay. I have had it six days not and love it. I use Powerex 2700mah and get anywhere from 20-25 12sec quality hits per charged battery. Are you twisting the battery in so it slips down against the rubber washer and then pressing? That's not a blanket, it's a screen for all your little weedy bits. I feel like the Dragon is he best bargain in vaping. It really does work just like the MFLB. Only thing that concerns me is reading that the screen can come loose so I'll just take it easy when brushing the screen.

I missed him when he droped the kids off, for some reason he doesnt stick around very long at our house :goon:

Still waiting. Well if I never post in this thread ever again it is because my replacement never came. There is no replacement. This guy does not send out any and does not have real warranties. However if it comes. I will update.

At the very least he could have told me to not send the broken one back I could have probably fixed it. I like to try to fix things before throwing them AWAY. So this guy got the money AND the vaporizer wow.

So I had the opportunity to spend a week with this thing and here are my impressions...

I was going on vacation with the extended family to Walt Disney World and therefore needed a device that fit the following criteria:

1) Portable so I could use it both in my room and in the parks.
2) Stealthy so neither my non-toking family nor the park staff were made aware.
3) Inexpensive enough so that I could just toss it at the end of my trip so as to not carry a used vape onto the plane.

I'm a very happy MFLB owner and while the Dragon-Lite essentially met all of the above, I was expecting performance a bit similar to the LB and that's unfortunately where reality fell short.

The quality of the unit is as bad as people claim. The plastic outer covering and lid just feel flimsy. I'm surprised it didn't break the couple of times I let it drop on the ground. If you're taking this thing on the go a lot that could be a problem.

It was also very clumsy to hold. Considerably larger than the MFLB, it was sometimes awkward getting it to fit properly in my hand during use. I have relatively small hands for a dude, so this might not be the case for everyone, but while the Launch Box rests completely snug in my closed hand, I needed to "grip" the DL in order to use it, if that makes any sense. The DL was just overall bulkier in my pocket too.

While I first thought the separate metal sleeve for the batteries would be an improvement over having to strip the labels off like with a MFLB, I soon found that it only added to the bulk of the unit while adding one more object to fiddle with during a session. On a couple occasions I dropped the battery and sleeve making a big clanking sound on the ground. Obviously, this detracts from its stealthiness.

Performance-wise, the DL does vaporize, although not very well. It combusted my material WAY too often. Maybe there's a breaking-in period just like with the MFLB, but the DL seemed to get too hot too easily. I never combust with my MFLB anymore, so this was very annoying. Also, unlike with the LB, the DL seemed to disproportionately cook the outside of the material touching the trench and leaving the rest of the material untouched. This led to some very uneven cooking. I never really got those big clouds the way I can with a MFLB either.

At the end of the day, the Dragon-Lite is a very bare bones, inexpensive vape that does produce a limited amount of vapor. But compared to a MFLB it's not even a contest. I needed something I could throw away after a week of use, so I didn't mind dumping $40 on it. However, if you're looking for a more permanent vape I would stay away from this thing at all costs. I was very disappointed. Next time I need a "vacation vape" I may just bite the bullet on a new MFLB.

That just about covers it, good review.
