Does your vapor get people around you lit?

When you vape around your gf/bf or friends do they get lit ? (Based on ur personal experience)

I mean whenever i vape, my gf acts more hyper and different, so i feel like she is lit but she say only a little

Then this past weekend i went ktv with a bunch of my friends, after i vaped they all acted like monkeys, but it could also be the alcohol or alcohol plus some high from the cannabis, but i asked one of the girls i blew all this vapor on ur face, u definitely inhaled it, do u feel high? Shes like no

Is it just me thinking they are high or my perception of them is exaggerated while im high makes me think they are high, if that makes sense

While a study I've read shows you do actually breath out around 30% of the THC you inhale normally (without breahtholding) that's going into the air and dissipating, it's very unlikely to get anyone else high unless you were hotboxing a small area with low air flow.

Absolutely not. The mere idea that you can get a contact high from exhaled vapor, or smoke, is absolutely ludicrous. The dose is simply not enough.

The only experiment done was one where about a dozen people were put in a Lexan box and everyone smoked like 60 or 70 joints in a small period of time, and even then the results were inconclusive.

I did a quick search and found a few articles that would indicate that possibly the OP is correct and everyone else is incorrect...

"Yes. Contrary to popular opinion in this thread, you can definitely get high off second-hand vapor."

And, some better and more documented studies on how vaping e-cigs applies to second hand 'smoke'. Numerous studies show that vaping e-cigs passes nicotine and other harmful vapors into the room and affects those in the room. I would imagine vaping pot is also passing something onto the rest of the room.

Just wondering if all you people who said NO have anything to support your answer (rather than opinion).

Any studies or anything? Inquiring minds want to know.
As if the articles you presented are controlled scientific studies?

Yes, you are going to get some of the chemicals in your body from second hand smoke/vapor, but not nearly enough to have any noticeable effect. Of course, doing something like shotgunning works, but that is VERY DIFFERENT than just blowing vapor in someone's face. The latter is not shotgunning. Of course, hotboxing a room/car/etc is also VERY DIFFERENT than what the OP described.

There is a VAST difference between getting a small amount of the chemicals in your system from the environment around you, and getting enough in your system to have ANY noticeable effect.

Now what about that contact high? That works without vapour transfer.

Maybe @stinkytofus saw his friends like they really are?

Try it out, vape or smoke in ur bf/gfs presence, windows closed, vents closed and observe their behaviour, compare to how they normally are

I think they do get high but not nearly as high as you, remember those gas masks people use ? Same idea i think

I seen a vid @ cannabis cup where a volcano tent was set up... there were 4 volcanoes in each corner... you basically sit in there while those vapes run with the top off and the vapor just plumes into the tent space. that type second hand vapor is sure to medicate... not really second hand though as the vape hits air instead of someones throat that metabolizes it and releases carbon monoxide
