I agree, some people have to understand that the zombies are not the problem anymore, humans are. A lot of time has passed since season 2 and they have become more adapt to surviving in the apocalyptic world. Also people have to realize that TWD is based on a comic book so they can't just have it be "zombie killing hour". It has depth, a take on human survival, not just gore (though of course we all love that). I think it is very well balanced.
I will say this BDV, I think those damn walkers are dead as the dinosaurs. I mean they are rotting corpses.

You guys are missing the point.The dialoge and character development are fine.This is about getting to the meat and potatoes of the storyline. I appreciate the tense moments. I can also see how they poorly try to push fringe characters to the foreground Just to kill them off.So Andreas character is the catalyst for the talks? come on...Now Glenn s back to being a trusted leader?..Why all the pushback for michonne?.Its all wishy washy and storylines seem put together by macaroni and glue sometimes..

I don't agree with those observations. I think it was made quite clear to Andrea that she was insignificant, especially when the Governor showed up before her. He was saying, "@#$% you" to her.
Glenn's not a trusted leader and if I'm correct on my take on the parallels between the comic book and the show, I don't believe he ever rises to any level above what he is. A inner circle character. Safe? I don't think so. I think there's a couple of characters that are "safe", but I wouldn't be surprised to see them off any.
Pushback for Michonne? Well, I thought she was pretty much bat@#$% like Morgan, up until she started to open up a bit. She wasn't opening up to them and vice versa. As Rip points out... the Walkers aren't the real problem any more. Its the people. Its always going to be, the people.
I think they do an excellent job, covering the different types of personalities and the interactions of them, with each other.

Not me. I used to... but since he finally nutted up, I'm taking a liking to him. Though, they're setting it up, so he could go either way. Nutcase, or leader. The governor, or his dad (who's a bit off his rocker, but who isn't?)

I don't get all the Carl hate. Kid's are gonna dumb. It's what they do best. Gives him plenty of space to grow into the 'oh, remember when he was a little jit?' badass down the line.
Also, am I the only one thinking Melvin(? the scientist/dork in Woodbury) is going to at least attempt switching to Rick's group? I've had no exposure to the comic books so coming at this with a blank slate.

He's already experiencing empathy for them.
Though, I'm wondering how much longer he's going to last. Tyrese is supposed to have a much larger role than he has so far, I believe as central as Rick's. I'm wondering if the Governor doesn't get it coming, before too long and Woodbury turns to Tyrese (though, he's a newcomer... who knows). But, I don't think Melvin has the street smarts to survive the Governor. Though, he's a smart guy... he might have his own play.
I think what we will be seeing, is Rick with a bit of turnabout is fair-play, soon. Rick mentioned that even if he handed over Michonne, the Governor would probably kill them anyways... but then he totally went off that point, onto trying to sell the reasoning for turning her over. That I will admit, was a bit too obvious. Plus... Herschel gave up, WAY too easy. I don't think that conversation is done.
I think they walk in, looking like they're giving her up... and the @#$% hits the fan instead. Carl's accepted her, Rick's not the type either.
I also see doubt creeping into guys like Martinez. I think the interaction with Daryl made him see how stupid some of this all is. Martinez might end up saving Melvin's ass. Though, at the cost of his own. One of them is going down.

Don't worry about Milton*, he doesn't exist in the comic. Blank slate for the comic readers too.
Tyresse is a huge character in the comics, but with the comics and the show they are all about Rick's story. About anything is possible now with Tyresses TV character. It is ridiculously different than his comic character. Went from favorite character in comics to whatever on TV, I hope so bad that changes soon. I love that hammer-wielding badass.
Rick is a cop, he can tell when someone is bullshitting him, I mean, With Phillip(gov) it should be obvious to him. I think that bit at the end was just his responsibility as the leader to weigh all options, but I think he knows better. I think that a fake handing over turned ambush would be a good idea, take a few of the more capable wall guards with the surprise attack and then dig in. Woodbury citizens are not battle ready like Rick's group. It would be so easy. Alas I don't think that will happen, I think they are going to stay put and wait for attack unfortunately.
