MOD NOTE: SPOILER ALERT -- THIS POST GIVES AWAY FUTURE PLOT

Wont get to watch the new episode until tomorrow AM, but i can tell you that after reading through the graphic novels... Lori died rather respectably... In the volume they are escaping from the prison which the Governor is attacking and she (and little baby judy) get blasted the fuck as they are running away... the whole idea is rather disturbing... plus were talking graphic novel so we got pictures of this shit too... Dead babies hand sticking out from under lori's corpse... Fucked up.

Shit made me fucking cry...

Next to Breaking Bad its the best show on television. Story and Character development is remarkable. The way they can convey pure emotion while having almost every decision made (for me atleast) reasonable / understandable is incredible. AMC hands down is the best network for drama tv.

I find it entertaining as hell. However some of the acting absolutely fucking sucks and the dialogue isn't the greatest either. And don't get me started on some of the characters behaviors and decisions.

And the whole lack of character development for t-dog(and that stupid name), then him dying, and then his immediate black replacement (the prisoner) dies and is the only one who dies in the assault of Woodsbury, and now we have the newest black replacement! At least Tyrone has some background so hopefully they wont just kill him and replace him with another black guy. Seriously what the fuck?

It's going to be juicy.

Edit: It would be so awesome to have an FC walking dead night. Too bad we all live so far from each other :D

Is anyone else as upset with the character Andrea as me? This whole second season her character has done a complete 180.She isnt the pillar of strenght that she was built up to be all of season1. Shes mucking up my show with her lack of reasononing and moral compass...I wish someone would bite her already

I've never been a fan of the TV version of Andrea. The actress sucks, and her character is just a cliche whore who likes all the "bad" guys. Frankly, I'm surprised she hasn't fucked Merle yet, I mean he's a big enough piece of shit to meet her expectations. It really kills the realism of the show when they have a character who mainly cares about sex, even though the zombie apocalypse is happening all around her. The worst part is that in the comics Andrea is totally different. The best part; she will eventually die, and it will be glorious.

Second season is instrumental in the whole story. What some people don't realize, is this isn't writing off the cuff. There is a HUGE storyline, behind the entire series. All the characters have already been developed. Without the 2nd season, the third season is just a bunch of new people thrown together.

Season Two builds the entire show. Shallow? Hollow? Two-dimensional?

The only time, I hear those complaints are from the people that just want them killing zombies. Kind of one-dimensional, if you ask me. ;)

I like the character development. It actually makes me give a damn about the characters/story.

I wish they followed the graphic novels a little closer. I don't like how there are so many similarities and then there are these huge gaping differences that make me shake my head and ask why they did that. If this was an HBO series then they could really follow the graphic novel and it would be awesome. Right now, I'm just waiting to see who'll die next and how crazy they're going to make Rick.

By the way, someone was asking why they don't call them zombies. I read an interview with Robert Kirkman and he said that in the Walking Dead universe there is no zombie culture. No zombie movies or zombie stories. The idea of zombies and the term zombies do not exist so they never use the word.

I haven't ever read the comic. I used to be a hardcore collector, but that burned thru a LOT of money (minimum $35 a week back in the mid-80s). Though, I do have a collection that is well-into the 6 figures, think I have around 1500-2000 comic books. If I was smart I would sell it, but it just keeps growing in value.

I was unaware, it took place in an alternate universe. Just assumed it was here and I hadn't ever noticed, consciously... they don't ever say the word "zombie". Interesting tidbit. Thanks. I try to avoid looking too much into the history of it, because I don't want to see spoilers (LIKE ANDREA DYING!). Naw, I figured she was going to get it, eventually. She's got it coming. She went off the deep end, when she had to off her sister.

I just REALLY enjoy the show, no matter what they're doing. I like the character development, personally. Though I'm really @#$%ing pissed they killed Lori, that relationship deserved to be recovered. Rick and Carl deserve better. Yeah, I know... cruel world... biters don't have sympathy.

And damn it! Daryl better get his ass BACK to the group!!! (though I did read a spoiler, couldn't help it)

I didn't know if they were going to kill Laurie off or keep her around on the show. As it has already been stated, they killed Laurie in the comic, but since there have been so many differences between the two I didn't know what to expect. Honestly, the show is kind of soft compared to the comics, but that was to be expected. I would say that the comic is kind of a blueprint for the show with a whole lot of renovation. The one thing I have found that holds true for both is that you can not get attached to characters. Even Kirkman has said that anyone can die at anytime. Not one character is safe from being killed off. He has also said something about wanting to create an insanely sad story that never ends.

Someone mentioned the game. It is excellent and probably the saddest and emotional game I've ever played.

HOLY SHIT! :uhh::whoa:

I agree. After all this time, every single person still can't shoot worth a shit. Everyone is all emotional and going insane, as if they have time for that nonsense. Get over it bitches, this is zombie war and now you've got a pissed off, one eyed, mad man that wants to kill everyone. Time to stop with the tears and nut up.
