Does cooking ABV herb smell?

Just wondering if it smells, and if so, how recognizable is it?

I want to make some cannabutter with some ABV. I tried Firecrackers, but they seemed to have no effect, though they didn't stink up the entire house though, but the cannabutter recipe asks for a little more potential exposed aroma I think...

EDIT: Well I went ahead and tried it. Smell wasn't too bad.. made some orange chicken and you couldn't even tell unless you were directly in the vicinity.

What method did you use to make the cannabutter? When I made up some butter with the crock pot it really only smelled when you stood in the kitchen, literally right next to it.

By the way that orange chicken sounds amazing, way to get creative with your cooking.

If you punch it in the nose hard enough beforehand it wont smell shit.
