Do I have to Take the Black Part off of the 'E' Bowl to Clean?

Hi everyone,

I'm about to clean my bowl for my 'e' with some iso, but was wondering if there was a way to remove that black rubber/plastic part from the bowl so i can just be washing glass. If it is possible please let me know how.

That's the silicone protection so the hot bowl can be handled. There's no need to remove it and if you do, you'll have to cut if off.

This post doesn't require a thread, and if it was worthy of one, you should have started it in 'Ask the Vaporists'. A minor question like this should have been asked in the Extreme thread.
