Diy heater not hot enough

Been reading about success others find with mini zvs module to make a dynavap ih.
I tried following the tutorial on reddit like a year ago but even with 5a psu it wasnt hot enough.
I tried to modify the resistor (guess thatd be freewheel resistor?) In the power brick to increase Amps.
But that also increased voltage iirc. And board states 12v max.
I tried removing turns on the ih coil. Even with 4 turns not hot enough.
I tried making coil tight, spaced. No variable changed mattered.
So after a year I finally bought a 2nd psu thinking surely this will work. This time 8amps.
But no with 4 coil turns it still isnt passing 350 F with it powered for 20 seconds.

What gives?

Ive had a dynavap for a good while but cant use it. Can anybody help me be able to use this?

So I also tried lowering r 1 and r2 on mini zvs module. No dice...
Now my last idea without having to build it entirely from scratch is maybe trying a thinner heating coil instead of the large ga solid wire they sent with heater. But it appears others are using included wire without fuss?

Anyway any advice would be appreciated.
Much love and happy seasons to you and yours

Use 2x18650 high amp draw batteries, even an 8amp PSU is pretty low DC power. I still have mine and can heat all manor or dosing caps, VC etc but I mainly use a Wand by Ispire for a portable induction heater for VCs (yep 2 at a time if you want), only $90,
I also have a plug-in SJK (about 50 bucks) that works a treat but I only use that one to help with rosin collecting,

Thanks for the replies. Yah 18650s crossed my mind. I have a bucket of them so no problem trying that.

Still annoying me I cant get this working with psu. Lots of people seemingly are getting away with 5a. But even 8a seems to not be enough.
All parts on board are correctly populated. The mosfets are 60v iirc.
My boards have screen printed "5-12v". 1 pcb says "output current must 20a"
I removed another winding on heating coil. Still the same on my thermocouple temp multimeter.

Also have 3 magnet wire coils of various lengths. Each has the same resistance. So ga of wire determines resistance not length it seems.

Not sure what to do. Try to find a higher amp wall wart? Build my own psu? Could build a zvs circuit that would weld metal. But that would be excessive...
I also daisy chained 2 psus to output 12a buf it didnt seem to help. Maybe my thermo couple is fooling me.

What is the optimal temp for dynaVap?

Also. Couldd use 18650s.
But really want a wall power option.

Found this in a topic here but I cant read it lol

Guess if I figure something out I will report back. Have a few ideas...
