Just got the Smooth Dual Rod Micro Skillet- wow!

Robox reads it at 1.9 Ω.

I set the voltage to 4.2, dropped on a chunk, pulsed it for ~0.5s, hit it for ~1.5s. Huge & delicious hit.

Will be interesting to see how it performs after a for weeks of use and gunk, but I think I'm going to like it more than the donut.

Going to try the full size skillet next, or maybe the Evolved, anyone tried both and can offer their opinion? (I'm trying to limit myself to one new waxpen toy a month, but I have no willpower).

Hi, just an little update about the Donut atty from DT, I treated mine as a hercule (I loaded 0.3) and this lead me to a clogged atty, leaks on the thread and the need of high heat to unclogg it to got a hit....taste suffer of this too.

So I decided to try iso (ethanol in fact) soak of the entire atty for several hours and a whole night to dry, now it works perfectly!

I bought a new sub-ohm battery called the Clover Overlord II able to run from 3.3v to 8v and 7W to 30W....but after some use I only use it at 3.3v now(sometime at 4v with water) cause higher voltage leads to a harsh hit but at 5v the ceramic is red glow in 2s, and I use smaller load now (0.1-0.2max)

Higher voltage are nice to clean the ceramic!

edit: maybe this thread can be moved to an official thread, isn't it?

Have you tried the Terra's? Wonder if there is a noticeable difference

Yea, looking for a vv battery to run this. It seems joy tech twist is very popular. Do you have any experience with the joy tech?

Oh my goodness. I completely posting the wrong thing to each forum last night because of all my essential oils haha. I dont know how to delete that could someone help? What I meant to post on this was that I noticed you've got more stock on donuts coming in tomorrow @divinetribe , does this mean v2's or other inventory will arrive as well? If anyone does want to help though, I was using the robox battery and i'll still take an answer :)

Actually I pair my Donut with a new big VV battery (sub-ohm) able to run from 3.3v (7W) to 8v(30W), dry I use it at 3.3v for little clouds with a short heating time and with my WT I use it at 4V for great tasty clouds but I already tested it at 5v for a nail style hit (at 5v the ceramic is red glow in less than 1s!)

It was a bit smoother when I paired it with my Persei at 3.7v, I think it heated more gradually than my new battery, so now I only use it with water filtration, a 4 or 5s hit (at 4v) give you a smooth hit and 8 to 10s hit give you a lung buster!

Dangus

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
@divinetribe What's up with the new ceramic production as well the v2s????

I see a pic, but it doesn't look like it's available yet...looks sick though!

PPN was able to use Persei with the donut (but might have bought an adapter) it's only 10 posts back. I bought the joytech ego ctwist specifically for the donut. The biggest drawback of my DT donut atty is that it is physically too hot to grab after a session. I am wondering if it will be worse with all ceramic because it's supposed to hold the heat longer than ti or stainless steel.
