This is mine: http://cornerstonecollective.com

Pay special attention to the links at the top of their home page. Some GREAT info there in regards to addressing specific medical issues especially in their "blog" link.

Been a customer of theirs for over 6 years now. Not only great product but great people who will spend whatever amount of time that is necessary to help you make the right decision in regards to strains and products.

(damn, I'm kinda sounding like a shill here, eh?)

No, you just sound like a happy customer and what's not to be happy about--looking at their menu?

Well it all looks awesome and we hope the rest of us can someday soon have access to goodies like these!!!

The Glue Dream and Nevils Haze intrigue me the most. Have you ever tried either??

Cannabis porn is what it is....

If CA votes to legalize, what's the earliest it would be implemented?

Here's "mine" but it is 1000 miles away in CO :(

As a patient in the Bay Area, i'm spoiled rotten when it comes to dispensaries so I don't really have a favorite. The regulars I frequent are Blum in Oakland, Harborside in San Jose, the Green Door in SF, and a delivery service called Trees by Healthy Living when I don't want to or can't leave the house. All of the businesses I've mentioned carry some of the best Cannabis in the world, carry a wide variety of strains, concentrates, edibles/topicals and have established themselves as the best... with some being featured in TV shows like Harborside and The Green Door.

Besides their outstanding quality of medicine, The Green Door also has a lounge upstairs for patients to medicate with comfortable furniture, clean glassware to use, huge TVs to watch sporting events/other entertainment, and they will also provide delicious Pizza made locally for all their patients who go there to watch sporting events... I don't really see how that can be beat.

At the moment my favorite is maggies farm in Southern Colorado. They are in 4 cities, great if you're a member and travel a lot. For recreational, I am quite fond of Nature's Medicine in Salida. Both places have had the most impressive buds I've found so far, out of about 20 dispensaries I've tried.

This post makes me sad. My favorite dispensary by a long shot was Zen Living Gardens, https://www.instagram.com/p/1rh9AgIUOr/ they had a very fine selection of topical lotions and salves, edibles, and high quality, organic flowers grown on site.

They also had a Japanese garden, a recreation of a traditional garden in Japan, including a Koi pond and bamboo forest

where patients were welcome to feed the fish, meditate, and medicate. I spent a few hours here over the years with a Hercules in hand loaded with a fresh scoop from the counter, or a pre-roll, and regret not spending more time back there with a book before they closed.

Medical marijuana is now dead in Washington State in favor of a taxed recreational system and nearly all dispensaries have closed, with a small percentage now operating as combined "rec+med" retailers. There are no more dispensaries. :( :rip:

That is unfortunate to hear, especially as I will be moving to Washington in a few years. Hopefully someone can seize the demand and provide WA residents that type of place again. Is Oregon the same way?

I-502 opened the door to the end of medical since instead of allowing existing medical dispensaries, who were experienced with the sale of cannabis products, it did not address them and set up a completely separate taxed system. SB-5052 directed all dispensaries to close and patients lost the majority of their legal rights to grow plants, we're now supposed to purchase taxed products at retail stores. Lower income patients like myself that relied on compassionate care programs at dispensaries (gone) and home-grows (neutered with an unworkably low plant count for anyone trying to extract medicine out of their plants) are not factored into the tax dollars that a for-profit system can generate- so they vetoed patient exemption from this tax. Yup, there's no way around paying a 37% excise tax, though it's supposedly illegal to tax medicine...

Oregon (and Colorado earlier on) both passed laws that took existing medical dispensaries in with open arms. Businesses and patients both had a much easier time transitioning to the new 'legal' system. In Colorado, patients can purchase untaxed buds from dispensaries that've been serving them for years, and retail customers can buy taxed buds from the same shop. That seems to be a system that's working for everyone.

This is interesting to me because we seem to have formed opposite opinions - I've had nothing but unpleasant experiences at Blum or Green Door. However, I've had great luck a few blocks away (in either case) at Barbary Coast in SF and Telegraph Health Center in Oakland. Telegraph Health center is my current go-to, although I keep eyeing up delivery services..

While I've found decent product at the places you've mentioned, I have not once had a good interaction with their employees. I can't say that for Barbary or THC, their employees have been pleasant and helpful all the way down the line, from security to front desk to budtender.

I agree about The Green Cross and SPARC. I live on the Peninsula so I have to drive to San Jose or SF to get to a dispensary. Green Cross is just off 280 and has good prices and friendly staff. SPARC requires a drive into the city but gives me a 15% senior discount every day and another 10% points credit on all purchases. I prefer to get medicine that has been tested for contaminants and cannabinoid profile. The Green Door is just a bit rough around the edges for my taste, but I appreciate being able to use the lounge upstairs for ASA meetings.

San Jose has some good locations: Elemental Wellness, Harborside (both offer 10% senior discount), and Airfield Supply are my favorites.

Something else I've discovered about my caregiver (Maggie's Farm), they grow from seed, coming out of two different breeders (TGA Subcool Seeds and LaPlata Labs). Makes it easy to verify and compare notes between the seed banks and the dispensary =) There's always a question on the genetics in some dispensaries.

Maggies Farm has a number of locations in Southern Colorado so your membership works at any of them (Colorado Springs, Pueblo, etc). All the prices are the same no matter which shop, if the tax rate is higher, the product will be cheaper. Flowers Run about $170 an ounce, Concentrates run about $369 an ounce. They have some 350mg edibles for $17 though I just make my own with concentrates anymore, so it's usually about $13 for 700mg+ home made medibles. They have cheaper meds for patients on tighter budgets. Shake $4/gr, mixed strain concentrates or mystery concentrates usually for about $14/gr or $300/oz.

Their flowers seem to sell out faster than their concentrates which is great for me, since I medicate mostly with concentrates. They do buy flower from other medical growers to supplement their supply until harvest, these flowers are easily distinguishable so you know whats a house product or not, those strains are not from TGA Subcool or LaPlata Labs. House product is sun grown organic which I actually like because it seems to translate into the best terpene profile. All concentrates are nug run by dabble extracts. Colors range from light yellow to chocolate brown, mostly golden.

As a member you get a bunch of free stuff like a locking zipper pouch which requires an additional search warrant if ever you are stopped by the police. You get an annual punch card which allows you 10 punches for choice between 4 different discounts, you can use it once per visit. On the last punch on the card you get a choice between 4 deeper discounts. You also get 4 different discounts per month you can use once per month. The 4 different discounts are for flower, concentrate, edible, and tincture products. Every 20th of the month they will have sales. I never walk in and buy anything without a discount. I can use my punch card, a monthly discount or 4, per trip. Sunday-Thursday has early bird special 15% off everything 8am-12pm.

My last visit they had about 25 strains of flowers available and 50 or so strains of concentrates. So far, for the past 3 months I've been a member, they've had pretty much the same strains available. This is huge for me because while playing the pokemon game with strains is entertaining and fun, I do like to settle in on 4 or 5 that I can rely on.

Customer service has been great for me so far. The manager at my shop always wants to come home with me :brow:

LIVE Inventory Menu (Helpful for those of us driving an hour+ for meds!) - http://maggiesfarmmarijuana.com/menu/canon-city/

Membership Benefits - http://maggiesfarmmarijuana.com/membership/

Some of my favorites, Hurkle, Pennywise, Jack the Ripper, Ripped Bubba

I don't work for Maggies, I am just a satisfied patient and want to spread the word for affordable MMJ to folks in Southern Colorado. Keep in mind the pricing is different for members (meaning you have to give up your grow rights).

As for their recreational side, it's fantastic product but expensive =( They also don't have a lot of the medical strains, mostly it's top 20 strains like blue dream, trainwreck, etc.

And a pic of my lovely shop!

Nothing really groundbreaking here, but just another example of why I like my dispensary as much as I do. I know of no other dispensary that tries to service their customers beyond just the retail aspect of their business. There may be others, but I do hope that others follow Cornerstones lead in an effort to communicate as much information as they can in how cannabis can be of benefit for their medical patients as well as how best to use cannabis to treat their symptoms.

Hey lwien, I have been a CRC patient for many years as well.

Where I live is ground zero for dispensaries and I choose to drive 50 miles r/t to
Cornerstone. I am never disappointed. Prolly saw you there over the years.

They are truly the best and exemplify what a dispensary should be like.
