Discrete vape in the Uk for outdoor and indoor

Hi,

I’m looking for a discrete dry herb vape but having troubles with it. I’ve been interested in these for years but only now wanting to change into it as it’s been interesting me more recently.

From my search, I’ve found the TM2, AVLP2 it’s not released yet but why not buy the newer one though they’re almost identical yk. The new Airzer interests me alot as well.

Just wanting to see thoughts on people’s most loved vapes that they recommend as well.
I will have a smell proof case btw hopefully able to store capsules and everything for extra portability, believe they exist for all vapes.

Though it’s main use will be outside, I still want something strong hitting for at home use, still discrete but with a little more oomph.

TM2 fits the bill, I know the AVLP has fans but I've never used one so can't speak to that.

Tinymight 2 is great, but I would only recommend it to someone using it at home most of the time. It's not nearly as portable as the AVLP. Buying the AVLP today would also be a bad idea though because it's an absolute maintenance nightmare, especially compared to the Tinymight 2 that requires very little maintenance (depending on which stem you use of course). If the AVLP interests you I would highly recommend the short wait for the AVLP2, since it will make cleaning much less annoying (although even then it's still gonna be higher maintenance than a Tinymight)

The AVLP is definitely a strong hitter at higher temperatures, stronger than a S&B Mighty for example, but not as strong as the Tinymight

The key word here is discretion.
I would suggest the most discreet vapes include the Pax and the Roffu. Both can pass for nicotine vapes, especially roffu as it looks just like a box mod.

Pax:
Very discreet, great looking, palmable.
Old tech but cheaper now.
Conduction. Session.

Never owned one. Still tempted due to design and now price however bowl size is too big (even with reducers) for me given it's gonna cook the bowl in that session.

Roffu:
Very discreet, great looking, palmable.
Midrange pricing, it's a good value item.
Convection. Session. On-demand (really a short, easily stopped session)

I have one. Love it, flaws and all. Removable bowl, adjustable chamber, metal chamber available, capsules for on the go.
Best of all it is easily seen as a box mod nico vape. Never get a second look.
Best vape out there? No.
Most discreet for UK? May be.

Alternative to Roffu: Xmax V3 Pro
Same company, some people love it. Cheaper, don't have one.

AVLP:
mostly convection hybrid.
Love it, very portable, not quite as discreet as Roffu due mainly to form.
Get new version as mentioned.

TM2, Solo3:
Don't have either, would be very happy to have one or both.
I gather if you looking for power these are good places to look.
They both use a glass stem protruding from a handheld body. To me this is not discreet. So if discretion is your priority I think you can do better.

If you are talking about the Solo 3 from Arizer, its not overly discreet however is a great device. The flavour and versatility is fantastic. Its great on its own or through a bong. Happy hunting.

The TM2 stock stem is small enough and it fits into the hand nicely so that makes it discreet enough whilst balancing the power needs.

The Roffu could work too, not sure how much power you can get from one?

Not a big fan of the pax line, saw bad things about them a few years back, and not a huge fan of conduction as it’ll leave a lingering smell for longer I believe, correct me if im wrong please.

Cleaning ain’t an issue, was more interested in the new v2 version now that’s its come out, but decided to wait to see reviews on it when it gets to customers.

The roffu is tempting, how’s it performance and bowl size? Wanting something that’s powerful and compact and this might fit the bill at a cheaper cost than the TM2

The roffu is tempting
i just got a roffu a couple of weeks ago, so admittedly still honeymooning. however i am really happy with it.
i have mostly switched to butane vapes for when at home, but wanted something discreet for when out & about, and the roffu works great for that.
i used to own a tinymight, and i would say taste on the tinymight is better than the roffu with the stock mouthpiece (i have no yet tried the optional glass mouthpiece), however the roffu is more discreet and much more suited for carrying places (i always worried a bit about my tinymight).
capsules work flawlessly with the roffu, which is a big plus for mobility. maybe capsules situation has improved on the tinymight, but back when i had mine (version 1, long time ago), capsules worked, yes, but never so good that i wanted to use them. i use capsules with the roffu exclusively.

i cannot really say much re oomphness as i am a lightweight myself, but to me the roffu seems plenty capable, i never finish a caspule in a single session. for me the roffu is an easy recommendation, particularly considering its current price point. all this being said, the tinymight is great too, endgame vaporiser for many here, and you can certainly make it work for outside too. also probably more versatile when it comes to using at home with all these aftermarket stems.

edit: vapefiend did a roffu / tm2 comparison

Many people have moved on from the Pax. I can see why. Not for me. Mentioned only because they are very compact and discreet.

I honestly think the reviews for the original AVLP will stand + the improvements. If you fancy a AVLP2 I think maybe just go for it with the good discounts available now. They haven't reinvented the vape, just some small but potentially significant changes. I am confident the changes will improve the product so...I do believe it will just be better than the current model but not radically different in power, quality or experience (besides cleaning ofc).

You mentioned smell regarding the pax. I think the AVLP does have a bit of a lingering smell but that would be handled by the case you intend to purchase.

I mean it's a good vape. It's got sufficient power IMHO. I never need to max it out. However the AVLP is more powerful. So are the TM2 and the Solo3. Buying a single vape is almost always going to be a compromise of a variety of factors. If power is your leading factor maybe you should look at the AVLP2, TM2 or Solo3 over the Roffu. If discretion is the most important thing I believe you can bring a roffu to the "smoking shed" and blend in with the nico juice vapers. I think with the other three vapes peoples' interest might be piqued by the form factors alone. Same on the beach or in the park. However they are all small and portable and therefore can be discreet.

My advice is read* the relevant threads and see which vape reels you in!

* maybe skim them cos they are massive! :)

I don't own any roffu's or avlps but I do own a TM2. Amongst the vapes I have tried its actually the stealthiest and is my got vape for out and about. I use a short glass stem and the delta3d smellproof case. When I need to be stealthy I am generally only taking one hit at a time in any given location. I can have the vape stowed in the case in my pocket before I even exhale. I think its larger than a lot of competing vapes but its small enough to hide in the hand and slip into a pocket for me.

On the flip side, I find that when I am at home I prefer my zx over the tm2 so for me its 85% an out of the house device.

Try hard noob
I'm a UK'er with similar requirements. The pax is def the most portable size wise. It gets a lot of shit, but I don't think it's a bad vape really. Just conduction. Very simple to operate, which is a plus for me, stealthwise, you don't have to look at a screen. And yea there is a bit of smell-linger if that bothers you, but I didn't find it that bad.

The Nectar Hex is pretty decent too. Not as small as a pax, and quite heavy (body is all metal - it's really well built). But it slips into a pocket or a bag quite easily, and it has loads of other good points.

The AVLP is reasonable, vape quality is very decent, but it's not tiny. It has lots of good features. The killer for me - in terms of taking it out and about - is that the mouthpiece tends to drop off in your pocket or bag, which I find well annoying. The dosing pods are the best pods I've used, ever.

The TM2 is fucking awesome, but I'm not happy carrying it out and about because of the size and it's delicateness.

The FW9 or FATX are good options. Lightweight. Simple to use. Sadly, the FW9 has a removable lid, fixed in with an o-ring. I've already dropped and lost one, so I no longer like to take it out. The FATX doesn't have a retractable mouthpiece like the 9, but it looks good for out and about.

The roffu... got one on order RN, will let you know.

Thinking of getting an Airvape X for my out-and-about-ness. Looks nice and small, and the AVLP is so decent, that I figure it can't be that bad. Trouble is I want a black one, and they're like unicorn based gold dust right now.
