CHECKER drive-in was my biggest fastest loss.

Florida cannabis patients try to stand up for your rights. You voted for medical cannabis, now your lawmakers are trying to screw you over with a terrible patient cannabis bill. I can't believe all the BS!!!! 
If they don't allow vaporizing and edibles for medical cannabis patients, I would vote the A - holes out of office. They don't deserve to represent the people of Florida.

We figured out how to make CORN SYRUP from our waste + cheaper than SUCROSE.
The bigger problem like @CarolKing noted is CANNABIS LAWS?

Also the Cannabis laws are the same all over Carol we have a woman here telling us you only get MJ with some weird 6 month only approval, I think the title of the person is so fucked up and long i forget thier actual title.
I bet the sucker must of spent half his life in medical univiersity to get such a long title, And doesnt know a fucking thing about cannabis and never used in it his life. It is the same in Florida and bunch of clueless gimps who never used Cannabis trying to dictate about it.

Are they trying to say that unless you are already dying, vaping cannabis is too dangerous? Do they even understand the many different ways of vaping cannabis and the varying safety of different devices and methods? Are there any studies being used to support this view? Edibles are problematic for many patients due to the slow onset and the unwanted side effects of certain cannabis actives passing through the stomach (microbial and thermal oxidative decomposition means that the psychoactive compounds are changed in your stomach acid before getting absorbed and taking effect) and are less well tolerated than other ways of administering cannabis medicine (more reports of anxiety, paranoia and other such discomfort), not that I think this merits banning them (they still work very well for some and can be very cheaply made!), but vaporization? This seems very poorly considered and definitely not anything derived from scientific research that I know of!
@rodders83 some of us here are research scholars with fancy titles. I am one of them. We work FUCKING HARD to get to this position and many of us gave up a decade of our working lives just to get qualified! We are not all out of touch dicks living in ivory towers.
As you know, I spend a lot of time helping other people around these parts. Obviously, I know a hell of a lot about cannabis. I have developed this understanding of cannabis that allows me to help my own medical needs and also to give advice to others around here precisely because of my scholarly education as a scientist - without which I would have never been equipped to know what I know now! Don't deride an entire discipline of hard working scientists just because you disagree with one such researchers' alleged/stated views. We don't all think the same and we are so commonly misrepresented in the media (almost ALL journalists have negligible scientific literacy)!
By the way - you'll find that most people who spent many years at a college/university may have had a chance to get familiar with cannabis brother
Cannabis needs more input from scholars who understand it, not less. That is what will see proper legalization and regulation for safety and quality.

In EUROPE IN GENERAL it seemed like everyone was mixing TOBACCO with CANNABIS? As a CALIFORNIAN I found the practice very lame?
However the CHATEAUX MARGAUX was not hard to love! (GRAND CRU)

Hello @herbivore21 , my friend. Its not scholars or even factual knowledge that is in play here. Its politicians and politics. This travesty of proposed regulations, purporting to interpret the FL constitution amendment while in fact gutting it, is being put forth and championed by the FL legislature's Speaker of the House.
The issue is arrogance and mendacity. Arrogance on the part of our professional political class to the point that they feel entitled to directly opposed a democratically approved referendum. That arrogance, coupled with the professional political class's overweening abundance of mendacity results in them to try to pull this kind of crap and lie to the electorate all the while looking them straight in the face.
Professional political class......all of whom should all be 86'd IMO.

I know it is just this one fucker holding up MJ for everyone else is absurd in my opinion you simply cannot create a false construct like a title and then use that to dictate to everyone else.
There are good people out there who had to work to get such titles i know, Sorry but they make me mad bro doing this!

This week, Florida is back in the news, as the House of Representatives passed a new bill that bans people from smoking medical marijuana.
Florida bans smoking weed
Even though more than 72 percent of voters statewide voted to legalize medicinal marijuana for people with “debilitating diseases” (a term that includes cancer, Alzheimer’s and AIDS), the Florida House of Representatives still passed its own series of rules, regulating the state’s new medical weed industry.

The Republican-crafted bill bans smokable weed, along with creating a state-controlled cartel of legal cannabis farms, was passed with 105-9 margin.
Last year, voters passed constitutional Amendment 2 to legalize medical marijuana, but the new law mandated that legislators write a set of rules governing exactly how Floridians can smoke medicinal weed. The initial results, first seen in February, were just as bad as expected, too.
The original text of the House Bill 1397 banned all forms of smokable, edible, and vape-able weed, which would have most ask, just how would you ingest it?
Public outcry
Due to the outcry from patient advocacy groups, the House lawmakers amended the bill to legalize marijuana edibles and vaporizers for qualifying patients.
We have to make it legal and available to Florida residents, but we have to do it in such a way that it complies to the guidance we’ve been given by the federal government. – Ray Rodrigues, House sponsor and Republican Leader
It didn’t stop there, though, as the House’s rules require a doctor to provide formal “prescriptions” for medicinal marijuana, opposed to “recommendations” that advocates prefer – and it is the former that will be the problem for all. See, since marijuana is still illegal at the federal level, those doctors who do “prescribe” it are at risk of losing their FDA licenses.
That’s not the only damage that the bill has done, as it also gives out only a small number of licenses for farmers to grow, which has seen what some have called a “legal pot cartel” in Florida, whose members can work together to set prices and avoid competing with one another.
