About a month and a half ago I got my new Arizer Extreme Q 4.0, and I used it, and noticed the heating part of the vaproizer moves around, which I thought was normal, so I used it for like 2 weeks, and noticed it's shouldn't be normal for it to move around so I took it apart and look at it and that heater glass cover as broke, then I stopped using it because I saw a lot of broken pieces of glass around it, which I think I might have inhaled a lot and not long after that, I started have a sore throat with dry cough, then a week later my chest hurts, and then I heard crackles in my lungs, shortness of breath, I went to the doc 3 weeks ago and he gave me antibiotics and it didn't work and last week I went to the doc again and he gave me another antibiotic which didn't work either, so I had an xray, which turned out to be normal, but my chest still hurts, and hear crackles, especially laying don in bed, and today I went to him again and I told him about I might have inhaled a lot of glass dusts and I think that I might have silicosis, and he listened to my lungs with his stethoscope and heard nothing, and checks my nail oxygen level which is 99%, and he says it's all in my mind.
But silicosis is a progressive disease, I read about it online, the xray could be normal or abnormal, and it's hard to diagnose, and I'm worry about it, could the small particles of glass from the Arizer glass cover gave me silicosis? I mean I've used it for 2 weeks and it moves around and I hear grinding of the glass, so I'm very scared, is the glass 100%silica which can lead to silicosis easily, is it enough to cause me silicosis?
Enough said, the doc gave me an anti-depressant drug Zoloft, but I'm going to see a pulmonology specialist soon, give me your opinions.
