As far as the origin of the strain
I have heard OGs,Diesel, and Chem Dawg all share genetics developed by Dr David Suzuki at UBCC in the 70s for cancer research.
He use colchicine to modify the genetics and create really potent medical grade bud.
Clones were stolen and passed around.

That's what I grew in a pot outside as an experiment from a clone I got at the MMJ Market, I think it's almost ready, I have been bringing it in at night and also shielding it from hard rain. It looks and smells great!
