I am debating between getting the Wispr ($150), MFLB ($95), Vaporblunt (130), and Pax ($250). Right now the Wispr, MFLB and Vaporblunt are all on sale because of Cyber Monday. Additonally, I am unsure about getting a vape with butane. All suggestions are welcomed. Thank you in advance!

The Vaporblunt is ginormous. So if your gonna think about bringing it out you would need like a damn backpack. The wispr runs on butane, which will cost me more money and these based vaporizers arent meant to last long. Pax is out of my spending range.. i just see $250 dollars as a high end desktop vape. The Pax is good but is it that good to replace a desktop for that price? Not just saying this because
i own one but id probably go with the mflb out of these. It has a lifetime warranty, and it is built to last.developing great taste and good vapor. Its not meant to make clouds, its supposed to be based on what you feel like after a couple of hits.
But i see the wispr being $150 so if your willing to spend 150 get an arizer solo you cant go wrong with it is imo best portable

If portability and stealth are priorities, then the MFLB. Wisprs and Iolites seem to have reliabilty problems. A lot of people love the Pax, but they are quite a bit more expensive. I agree that for a somewhat portable vape, the Solo might be the best bet in the $150-160 price range.

First time I've ever heard someone say the MFLB has reliability problems.:mental:
Can't argue about the Solo though.

I didnt say that. Note the punctuation. I was referring to reliabilty problens with the Wispr and Iolite, being butane reliant. My Iolite fires up ok, but sometimes it takes several clicks and i wouldnt be surprised if it crapped out entirely. Hard to go wrong with the solo, though.

I honestly saw a comma and not a period when I typed that... :hmm: Sorry!

I would argue that the Pax is just as portable and stealthy as the MF. They both have their pluses and minuses, depending on vaping style and your priorites. I would also disagree that the iolite/Wispr design is unreliable. I've used iolites off and on since the model came out in '08, and never had a failure. And a LOT of these have been sold. The wispr had a switch problem that has since been resolved. I think it's worth consideration in the price range it's in these days. The Solo is a good option, but the OP didn't mention it, making me think the goal is a pocket vape, which the Solo isn't.

At the high end of the price range, I'd go for the DaVinci over the Pax (which I did myself), and at the low end you can pick up an iolite on eBay for $90. The wispr will go a little hotter and has more convenience features, and I'd certainly buy that one over the Vapor Blunt, even though it's about $20 more.

The Pax and the LB are equally portable, but not equally stealthy. The Pax takes a minimum of 30 seconds to warm up and it is heating the load all that time. Long before it gets warm enough to hit it starts to smell. Even if you hit it once and turn it off immediately, it still gives of an odour until it cools down. The LB warms up and cools down too fast to have this problem.

When I think of stealth, I generally am considering a one hitter, where you can fire it up quickly, take a hit and turn it off, and take another quick hit later. I don't know enough about the Pax to comment on how well it performs this function, but from what I've read, it seems more suitable as a session device.

Tha Pax isn't good at this all. The 30 second warm-up time already makes it a poor one-hitter, but worse is that the constant heating from the oven makes one-hitting the least effective way to use your stash.

I think you're right about it being more suitable for a session. Again because of the constant oven heat, passing it back and forth is probably the most effective use of the load. This is how I use my Pax, sharing with my wife.

took the mflb on a trip recently and the stealthiness is hard to compare if that is what you are after, was nice to be in the woods and not deal with flame issues with others around and heat up time is 2-3 seconds with a couple more seconds added as the battery drains, ymmv. so 6-8 seconds and my hit is done and it looks like im just yawning, sort of. (ya doing quickies) my only issue is when walking a lot (long hike) its possible for the herb to slosh out if the lid isnt closed real good, the rubber band helps when it aint broke. two batteries was enough for two people blasting most of the day. good luck atz vape on.

Wonder which one he chose? All comes down to personal vaping style in the end, I find.

Thanks for all of the help! I ended up not buying one yet since I am going to test out a friends Arizer Solo and MFLB. It looks like I am going to cross off the pax though since a lot of people have said it's simply not worth the money

I really think any die hard vapor person needs a mflb. One you play around and figure it out, it's priceless and will last a lifetime. Its also a really good teacher as once you get it down pat, all other vapes are easy to... or seem easy to use. As told to a friend recently, there's not too many sleath vapes you can hide in your sock and blast away in your parents shitter during thanksgiving dinner. And nobody has a clue.

I am a college student, and I was hitting my pax one day on the way to class. This was across campus, in front of the 20000~ students at my school. That being said, no one said a thing to me, no one even looked my way. I was wearing sunglasses and staring at everyone. It was more of a social experiment for me, but take that into consideration. Sure it "smells" but when you are out in the pure open, the smell dissipates much to quickly to be noticed.

That being said, I have also vaped out of the vaporblunt, and MFLB. I liked the blunt, but unless you like carrying around a massive tube, which you cannot hide.. and the MFLB is cool, but having the pax is sweet. Also with the portability of the Pax, you can make cool stuff, like this bong that I made for my Pax.

That looks so awesome! Your experiment you did really shows how the pax is so discreet? Would you say the Pax gives you a better high compared to the MFLB and Vaporblunt? That really has been one of my biggest concerns.

it takes a bit to get used to, the pax, but I wouldn't trade it. Now that I have learned to hit it, it treats me nicely. I feel like the vaporblunt never really got to me and the MFLB was back when I was on a mids diet.. so I can't really say much on that as now it is quality green.

I see. My goal is to test a pax out before I buy one but maybe I will just have to take a leap of faith and buy it. Either that or the new vaporblunt 2.0 that came out.

From what I've seen, the new vaporblunt deserves serious consideration.

I would agree with the above, the new vaportblunt looks cool.. Might be looking into that for later uses.. once the pax goes out on me. That being said, the Pax has a 10 year warranty on it.. so, that might be a while.
