Sorry for being so abrasive, but it really gets under my skin when people put others down just because they can't afford the high-end level of products.

I get it. We're poor and you're not. Enough already. Lets just all get stoned and stop putting each other down for incredibly stupid reasons.

How about this...lets all take a moment to enjoy our favorite glass pieces, and even aprecuate others pieces...no matter how much they cost. Because it's about how much each individual loves their own glass. It's not about some people's glass not being good enough for others to approve of.

To some to the discussion there are some pretty Unique pieces from China like the ones from stevenIMZ . He has pretty cool concepts like combining Matrix percolator with Sovereignty peyote pillar perc also offering various mouthpieces and sizes for 50-60$. This one is called FC-1000 ... aint that cool enough ?

It's been a while since I've been on FC, but it seems like there is a ton of china glass being used by people who know the superiority of vaporizing, but continue to opt for cheapo glass that is being marked up 10 times what it should.

You smoke every day but don't have nice glass.

American glass is all price ranges. Anywhere from less than $50 to $50,000.

Why not find you something made locally that is pretty dope for a decent price. That up and coming glass artist will remember you if you treat them right.

If you look hard enough you could probably find a nice American made piece for less than that China rig you bought from the local smoke shop.

Is it the concern of breaking your expensive glass? If so, what has caused your glass to get broken in the past?

I've bought from american companies only to find that they're just reselling glass from china or the quality was pretty much the same. I've looked locally but the pieces were marked up significantly by the shop. When I've gone to local artists, they want hundreds or thousands of dollars for their work which is quite prohibitive.

I've bought cheap china glass and the quality is top notch, the shipping is fast, I didn't have to leave the house, the glass is thick and my wallet is thick too! So tell me why I should I buy American glass?

$350 for a spoon? $500 for a hammer bubbler? nah
$50 dollars @ Sunshinestore for two bubblers? =)
$75 dollars @ Stevenlmz for an 18" tall bong? =D

The rig pictured was Deep-Six #1; built like a tank, 14mm, split-six-gill-perc.
He has done a few 18 gill rigs.
Unique from what I've seen; chopsglassworks and rycraftedglass are doing pieces with gill seals, but not like FluidMotion.

Well as one of the few people who've actually contributed any decent information to the thread to then be called a troll and cyber bully seems pretty amusing. All whilst facing the passive aggressive old guard of fc.

All i stated was my opinion that i don't understand people who invest money in everything ganja except glass.

For example i have a draw full of old vapes , some dont even work , most are worth nothing. These will probably just be thrown away and fill up a landfill somewhere. Now the nice glass I've bought (admittedly not even very much and i don't spend over 200 GBP) can be resold for a decent price if i don't want it, it will last forever (if i don't break it) and is sustainable.

Add to this that its a one off piece of art made by a real person, the money i spend on it goes towards that persons life. It pays for their kids school lessons etc, it doesn't go in the pocket of some chinese sweatshop owner.

This is not correct. I don't know how much (if any) Chinese glass Robert sells, but I've met @PlanetVape's glass guy so I know that not everything is from China.

Well my green quartz quest glass atomiser lid turned out to be green paint not green glass.

Id be surprised if this was the only case. I've also seen videos recently where a heady China pipe was just painted glass inside. (The bowl and everything)
