Thanks again for the pics, I want one of those pretty colors now! Ok, google image search, and even DE's site don't show the new color/logo. It must be fairly new, yeah? Older nails didn't have a logo, did they?

The colors and engraving is new. You can tell the old ones from the fakes by looking at the hole pattern. If the holes are closer to the center of the cup you have a fake.

I paid 150$ at the Cave at reputable head shop here in the bay area, then saw one called a dab essential on ebay for 75$, I cant find it anymore on ebay and now I'm sure it would have been fake.

Glad I got a real one.

I am new to Dabing and currently using a glass nail. I did my first run of BHO this week and I am TOTALLY in love with dabs. I have a complete set of skilletools and I am looking to get a good nail. How much difference aside from heat retention will I notice with titanium?

I was new to dabbing 5 months ago. Imo the glass nail the lhs sold me sucked, I woukd heat it till red hot and it would not vaporize very well. So I bought a no name titanium nail and dome, it was ok. But then I went to hemp con 2012 and some guys were handing out free samples of 3 different confen4rates there people were selling inside. They both had dab esentials domeless, and it was so much better than my reg nail set up. Flavor, vaporing and looks the dab esential is my fav. I also got to try a highly educated thT day but I got to say I like the dab esentials better, thats why I bought one.

I have not used a glass (boro) nail, only quartz & Ti. There is a taste diffrence to be sure, hence why some like boro, some quartz & Ti. I tend to listen to fellow dabbers here on the quality points and only use reputable vendors. You can get good heat retention from quartz 18mm divited nail from alt. Thats my go too nail. But for the longest time ive wanted to try a de domeless.

I prefer domeless but I'm not sure that I would be able to tell the difference blindfolded. I really like the Dab Essentials 14mm domeless (the 18mm is huge!) and the InfiniTi, as well as the Dave Goldstein quartz domeless.

EDIT: I've heard domeless like the DE or InfiniTi maybe are smoother because similar to a skillet the larger surface area lets the product spread out vs pooling like it would on a standard nail.

Domeless vs. domed shouldnt come down to this, but it does... How clumbsy are you... I like the user interface of my domeless, but my fingers and hands, and carpet dont.... So I stick with domed cause I be knockn shit down!

the DE and InfiniTi are a bit better here since they have a sleeve that provides more stability vs something like the DG

Hey guys,
I bought the dab essentials domeleas nail at THC in Toronto. I was just wondering... Is the nail supposed to have any markings on it? Mine doesn't.. And I just wanted to make sure it was an official dab essentials one because I wouldn't want to be smoking that crap from China. I worry especially because it was 70$ plus tax .. I think they're listed for more on the THC website and elsewhere.. It looks like the other nails I've seen ... I could take a picture

I'm pretty sure Dab imprints their name somewhere on all their units...I know mine has their name on it.
