really??? i ordered a custom DBV all glass extended wand and i did not pay with a check or money order. i was invoiced from them with PayPal. this was quite a few months ago so not sure why it would change

I just had to physically call the store and that is what they told me. When I got my first nail kit I ordered it straight from the da Buddha website. I canceled my order and got it through the da Buddha website instead. The only reason I places the order straight from higher elevation is it said the nail kit was $60 and on the da Buddha website it was $80. I didn't need the whole kit just the nail and the heater cover but that was $55 so I figures an extra $5 for the wand and glass ball thing(mine was broken when I got the first one, but I'm never going to use it so).

On the dabuddha website its $80?? When I bought mine from the dabuddha website it was $60. Strange

Just looked and saw its up to $80 now. It was $20 cheaper when I got mine. Sorry

Yea I called Chris at 7th floor and he said it was a typo and that it should be $80 on higher elevations website as well. So I just got the heater cover and the nail instead of the whole kit.

I just got the Flavor Kit myself. Wee!

So I installed it and the nail was sitting pretty far forward. About half a centimeter from the front of the glass globe... decided not to use it since the heat might break the glass.

Called 7th floor support and they told me to actually push down on the element a bit and that should center it. Lo and behold it worked, so if anyone else is having that issue, try pushing down and back a little on the element.

When using the flavor oil kit, should I crank it up to max before every dab? I think I'm going to buy an IR thermometer so I can tell how hot my nail is getting. Having a really hard time telling if the dabs are hitting properly.

edit: Okay I've got it at 2 o' clock and it appears that it can just stay there and still dab well. I think my problem is that I'm taking very small 0.01 dabs and I can see the vapor being made but I'm not getting those big vapor exhales like I see in videos. Actually I'm not noticing much exhale if any at all, but maybe my 3-5 sec hold is ghosting it.

Of course since I'm doing only 0.01 dabs there's no way I'd get that amount of vapor, so up the dab amount and I'd get it probably. However, I'm pretty content right now after having taken like 6 or 7 0.01 hits (:

Have it at 2 o' clock for now and very satisfied with the dabbing now. Did end up ordering that IR thermometer though, I figure it basically turns my DBV digital, heh.

Is it possible that better, more THC-laden oil would produce more vapor for the same sized hit? So far it seems that way with two different products I got.

The consistencies may have to do with the amount of vapor production, but usually more errl means bigger hits. Are you weighing the dabs? Looks can be deceiving.

yes... but I use a technique that prevents it...
I keep the stopper between pinky and ring finger, ready to close off the top, if I feel I already put too much wax in there to consume easily. That is what makes a flareup.. too much wax... still fuming when your breath is slowing. Keeping a tighter control of the air helps... you do so by restricting the flow of air... so that less inhalation has greater impact on the "hot end".

just had a realization here. the container of one was 0.5 grams and the other was 1 gram. now i definitely think i was misreading how much i was picking up.
